Ayatollah Noori strongly condemns raid on Sheikh Isa Qasim's house

Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani, a Shia source of emulation, condemned Al Khalifah’s inhumane attack against Bahraini Shias in a statement released on Wednesday, May 24 in which he said, “Al Khalifah regime showed the world the height of its cruel nature by attacking Shaykh Isa Qassim’s house in Bahrain’s al-Diraz to serve the orders of its American and Saudi masters.”

The text of the statement is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the most compassionate, the most merciful

Once again, Al Khalifah regime proved its cruel nature by attacking Shaykh Isa Qassim’s house in Bahrain to serve the orders of its American and Saudi masters. Unfortunately, the so-called human rights bodies and the Organization of Islamic Conference continue their deadly silence toward these violent measures against innocent Bahraini citizens.

We condemn Al Khalifah’s inhumane crimes and voice our solidarity with Muslims in Bahrain including Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qassim; we also demand the top cleric’s immediate release and urge Muslim community to stay united.
