Iranian Deputy FM: Confronting Israel, Takfiri terrorists requires unity

Lebanese Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdullatif Derian received at Dar al-Fatwa the Assistant Iranian Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, Hussein Jaber Al-Ansari, accompanied by Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Fathali.

In the wake of the meeting, Al-Ansari said that "the brutal Zionist entity and the occupier of the land of Palestine, is threat number one, and the phenomenon of Takfiri terrorism and extremism is threat number two, both of which requiring confrontation through unity."

"The best way to overcome this impasse and face these two major threats posed against the entire Muslim nation is through clinging to unity, convergence, dialogue and support to one another," Al-Ansari said.
