DAWAH GROUP, JAMA'TUL HAQQ OF NIGERIA

With due regards, we are pleased to hereby formally introduce to you, our Dawah Group, the JAMA'TUL-HAQQ of Nigeria.

The Group is essentially an Islamic Organization registered under the Companies & Allied Matters Act, 1990 with the primary objective of creating a well-organized and efficient body for the service of Islam.

Accordingly, the Group seeks to provide a forum for articulating the efforts of Muslim Youths in all walks of life, towards fostering of Dawah and fellowship activities amongst them, in the cause of Islam.

It stands solely and wholly for the great fundamental principle embodied in the Holy Khalima which forms the Great Pillar upon which rests the vast World of Islamic Brotherhood.

The Group which was formed in April 1993 is today, by the Grace of Allah, enjoying steady growth in both its membership and scope of activities.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF THE GROUP

1) The Jama'tul-Haqq Dawah Group is basically out to provide a forum for the promotion of Islamic ideals and culture amongst Muslim Youths of varied professions and industries;

2) The Group seeks to encourage Islamic Education alongside the Western Educational System through:

a) Development and maintenance of educational institutions;

b) Organizing lectures and Seminars on topical issues of Islamic and national interests;

c) Maintenance of Libraries for use by both Islamic and General Research Scholars;

d) Award of Scholarship to needy Muslims; and

e) Encouragement of activities that may tend to promote education.

3) The Group also seeks the promotion of Dawah and Islamic propagation activities through:

a) Development and Maintenance of Mosques;

b) Publication of Islamic journals and tracts; and

c) Recording and circulation of cassettes and video tapes on Islamic lectures and teachings.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES OF THE GROUP

The Group is currently involved in the following activities on a regular basis:-

a) Dua'a Sessions for members of the Group;

b) Arabic and Qur'anic learning classes for its members;

c) Lectures and Seminars Sessions, on contemporary Islamic issues, conducted especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan;

d) Tahajud and Zikr Sessions organized on a monthly basis; and

e) We also encourage members to imbibe such attitudes as regular voluntary fasting and conduct of Tahajud prayers with members of their respective households.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, the enormity of the task of Islamic Propagation in these days of highly sophisticated schemes of Westernization cannot be over-scored. It is only the dedication of all and sundry, and active cooperation amongst organizations in the Cause of Islam that would provide a sustainable basis for the meaning organizations in the Cause of Islam.

The Jama'tul-Haqq therefore desires to work in close collaboration with all well-meaning organizations in the Cause of Islam.

May Almighty Allah In His Infinite Mercy - grants all of us His Grace and accept our Service in the Cause of Islam as the Act of Ibadat.
