The positive books, a tool for guidance

The Islamic positives books are the best illustrator of oracle culture and indicates messengers and Ahl-e-Beit’s (peace be up on them) efforts in all ages and periods of time and the greatest special reward is for its authors(people who wrote messenger and Ahl-e-Beit’s [peace be up on them] utterance) because they have done a big worship by guiding and directing people and conveying them to human superlative grade and transferring divine knowledge and spirituality to people and protected from messenger and Ahl-e-Beit’s (peace be up on them) precious quotation.

The holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Imam Ali (God bless him) about a man guidance “if God guides a man through you it is better than whatever sun rise and set on that”. The God guidance that embraces human by their precious writings is a big blessing and beatitude door that writings owner impart from them forever and it is essential for people to research in spiritually and religious affair besides learning the necessities of worldly life.

Imam Ali (God bless him) has a sermon in which he said “the God has refused any failure in spiritual affairs in judgment day for the a few days of this world by the books he has sent from himself and has put his verses in them and expressed his clear reasons in these books, by these all reason people can’t deprive themselves from divine guidance.”

 The most valuable universe book

The books have sent by God and have been written by himself are three books:

1- Empyreal books:

   One the books that has written By God is empyreal books which has sent by God through his the greater messenger for human guidance and are pattern for human to tell him the correct way of living in this world and to prepare him for a big journey that is hereafter and utilize the positive effects of these books commands in judgment day.

The most important book is holy Quran which is sent through holy Prophet (peace be upon him). Holy Quran is a book that contains guidance for human and is source of worldly and spiritually mercy for them.

(Quran is) guidance and mercy for believers.

The people who want immortal bliss should learn holy Quran and read it and for understanding its concept should refer to Ahl-e-Beit (peace be up on them) that’s why there is a lot of reward for people who read the holy Quran that there is not any book which has equal reward as Quran has. Imam Sadegh (God bless him) said about a home in which holy Quran has read “the home where a Muslim reads the holy Quran is like a shiny star that people watch for sky’s creatures.”[1]   

And the holy Prophet said “the bliss and mercy will increase in a home where the holy Quran reads a lot and like the shiny stars which have light for people, that home has shiny light for sky’s creatures.”[2]     

While reading the holy Quran has so much good influence on the reader’s home can we imagine its influence on a person who reads it that how much it could be? Is it reasonable to put this great book that is the most important and precious book in the corners of the homes, libraries, masques and so forth and just use it as a symbol or sign of being Muslim?

2-Creature’s book:

 Creature book is the all creature and living things or none living things that have put on existence dress and show themselves by God’s volition.

The skies and their galaxies, star, planet and Wonders of creatures which is astonishing and are a great book by itself that has been created beautifully by God and there is big world in every creature, so here we suffice to say that “I have heard that every star is a world, they are a sky and an earth for themselves, the earth is like a dust floating in the air in comparison with these great skies”

3-Life’s book

The life book is human exsitance factory that God has put his signs in it, the book which God says about it “we will show them our sign in creature and in their life soon in order to clarify for them that he is right undoubtedly”[3]       

The mighty God has written human existence book by his creating pen and has given him power to think and act freely by which he can obtain the perfection and arrive to a place where even angels can’t arrive. Certainly if human study and pay attention to his existence book just like the way God has ordered he can discover divine’s secrets and Imam Ali (God bless him) said about it “do you think that you are a small body while God has put a great world in you, you are an apparent book that the inapparently appears by its letter”.

The contents of these three books don’t change by the passage of time and development of knowledge like other books and by the help of these three books human can arrives to monotheism, positive ideology, humanity making elements, world’s future specially the world which human has after his death and many more of realities. And the people who know these three books are at the top of the all scientist and educated people and are guidance light for mankind like Aemeye Atehar(God bless them).

The difficulties of acquiring knowledge in past

 The person who knows his value and pays attention to this that he isn’t a creature who spends his lifetime for useless things and drops himself into annihilation and inexistence by committing small or great sin. He should accept challenge and try a lot so that he can attain to healing drug for himself by any cost and listen to smart doctor’s (religious expert) advice and follow their guidance in order to pacify his soul and heart pain and cure them.

But in nowadays there are a lot of people who don’t want to try to read the books or refer to knowledgeable people and by neglecting to religious affairs prefer judgment day’s helplessness and misfortune in spite of many libraries and the tools which have replaced instead of books and communications technology that make it easy to transfer or receive the information. Maybe by looking to the people living in past and difficulties of communications and religious knowledge accessibility that they faced we can understand the opportunities of learning and studying at the present time, Those people who imperil themselves so that they can provide this world and the other world’s perfection. Pay attention to an instance of these realities:

An Imam Haddi’s (God bless him) shia’s adventure:

One of Imam Haddi’s (God bless him) devotee whose name was Saghar-ebne-Abidolaf has narrated: when Motevakel-e-Abassi cruelly brought Imam Haddi (God bless him) to Smera town and detained him, I really wanted to obtain some news from Imam Haddi (God bless him) in the days of his detention so I went to the office of the prison boss, he was familiar with me and asked me “why you have come here?” I said “I have come to see you, sit with you for a while and have a discussion with you” I thought that I can find some news from Imam Haddi (God bless him) in the office of the prison boss. There were a lot of people who were sitting in the office and in the room and when those people went and the room got empty I remained. The prison boss asked my again “why you have come here? What is your work?” I said “I have come here to see you and to talk with you” he said “no you have come to see your lord you haven’t come to see me because you didn’t come to see me when your lord wasn’t here.” I said “my lord is Motevakel-e-Abassi.”

The jailor said “the Motevakel-e-Abassi is iniquitous but Imam Haddi (God bless him) is real lord of mine and yours, do you think that because I’m Motevakel-e-Abassi’s jailor I’m not lover of Ahel-e-Beit’s (peace be up on them) and I accept anyone as my lord instead of Imam Haddi (God bless him)?” Jailor said “wait of the government member is along with Imam Haddi (God bless him) I will bring you to see and talk with Imam Haddi (God bless him) after he goes.” These kinds of work were playing with death if Motevakel-e-Abassi realized these people are shia and if he realized he would definitely kill them.

He called a kid that seemed to be his child and said to him “take this man’s hand and bring him to visit Imam Haddi (God bless him).” When I entered in room I saw that Imam Haddi (God bless him) has sit on an old straw and a grave had been dugout in that room. It was clear that Motevakel-e-Abassi had commanded that imprison Imam Haddi (God bless him) in a small room which be without any facilities and dig a grave for him till he says what to do.

As I saw that grave I couldn’t help to crying then Imam Haddi (God bless him) consoled me and said “be sure that these things can’t hurt me and don’t look at this grave”. I said “now that God gives me this opportunity to see you I want to tell you a quotation from the holy prophet (peace be upon him) and you explain it for me because I can’t understand its meaning.” He said “what is that quotation?” I said “he said don’t be enemy of days otherwise they will be your enemy.”

Imam Haddi (God bless him) explained this quotation and said “as long as the skies and the earth are set up we (Ahel-e-Beit’s [peace be up on them]) are the days and the Saturday is named on the holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and Sunday refers to Imam Ali (God bless him) and Monday refers to Imam Hassan (God bless him) and Imam Hussein (God bless him) and Tuesday refers to Imam Sajjad (God bless him) and Imam Bagher (God bless him) and Imam Sadegh (God bless him) and Wednesday refers to Imam Kazem (God bless him) and Imam Reza (God bless him) and Imam Javad (God bless him) and me (God bless him) and Thursday refers to my son Imam Askari (God bless him) and Friday refers to the son of my son Imam Mahddi (we praise God for his arrival) and this is the meaning of the days that you shouldn’t be enemy with them in this world otherwise they will be your enemy in judgment day.” And at the end of our conversation Imam Haddi (God bless him) said “say goodbye and go because you aren’t safe”[4]

This is an ultimatum that we have many of them in history which shows us that it is possible to be in a corrupted and satanic environment and even be one of these corrupted government’s member but remains God’s servant.

Some other instance

This jailor wasn’t the only person who said to Saghar-ebne-Abidolaf  that the real lord is Imam Haddi (God bless him) but also there are a lot of people who were involved in corrupted governments and in spite of it knew the rights and were God’s command’s follower. A corrupted man can’t be the lord of God’s servant.

“The holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is more deserve to believer’s life than themselves.”[5]  

The leadership is specifically for God’s messengers, Ahel-e-Beit’s (peace be up on them) and the Islamic religious experts. In Chapter Momen God says the story of a man who was one of the important members of Feron’s government and had believe to Mosa (God bless him) in secret. Of course these people were agent of God’s saint to enter in these kinds of governments.

We have in our books that sainthood Sakina (God bless her) lived about seventy years and she was alive till Bani Omayyeh’s government was going to abandon. She was in communicating with a lot of women whose husbands were in Bani Omayyeh’s corrupted government. Those women came to visit her and listened to lessons and invited her to their invitation and she did a lot of work by these women and prevented a lot of conspiracy against Ahel-e-Beit’s (peace be up on them) through them. In the judgment day the people like this are ultimatum for people who were in corrupted environments but hadn’t done any positive work. These people (like sainthood Sakina [god bless her]) didn’t lose their faith and tried a lot in spite of environment’s corruptions.

Studying books and converting unknown things to be known

It is great that one’s converts unknown things to be known by the helps of knowledgeable people and religious experts because the things which we don’t know about them are countless and the things that we know about them are limited. How much we know? We shouldn’t be satisfying the things that we know, the human being is responsible front of God, and the lifetime shouldn’t spend on vain things. Man should spend his life to learn new things and acquiring knowledge and make most of the opportunity given by God to him and expend his time on studying and researching and reading the religious valuable books so that he can acquire cognition of God.

Studying books and preventing life to be waste

We should turn to different religious and Islamic books. There is lot of books that have written which can supply all ages range. History of messenger, history of Aemeye Atehar (God bless them), history of saint, history of the great religious experts and other literati and studying valuable books that have written about human worldly and spiritually life and about his physically and mentally needs. The life shouldn’t be wasted otherwise the man will be responsible in hereafter. Studying has good impression on human’s behavior and will reform his thoughts and notions.

The Borujerdi saint lived for eighty eight years. At the end of his precious lifetime he said to a literati one his great and valuable recommendations and said “I am grateful to God that I didn’t waste even one hour in my eighty eight years of lifetime.” Which asset is better than lifetime?     

“Swear to afternoon that definitely people are in big detriment.”[6]

Everyone is in detriment’s well. What is more valuable action than human increase his knowledge. Anyway utilizing of lifetime is including God’s compulsories and sitting on the beach of Aemeye Atehar (God bless them) and literati’s lessons and reading books is the biggest utilizing of lifetime.

Talking about the advantages of studying books is like to give reason for sun and for us as Iranian that have tow valuable civilization including Iranian civilization and Islamic civilization the book and library should have special value because we know that every nation’s culture and civilization is based on their book and it is most beautiful that our religion is based on book, this religion’s miracle is book and its message is:

“Recite”[7]       

Your God is the most benevolent

(The God) who teach with pen                        

Your God is one who teaches you through pen and teaches human what he doesn’t know and should know. 

Last word

The book is a big teacher for us and by the help of this book human can find the realities that have forgotten and with paying attention and using them in the correct way they will lead to that we can identify ourselves and recognize the world’s realities.

Whatever exist in this world except cognition and acquiring it are darkness and ignorance because the saint and literati are those who permanently alive forever, and the sagacious is someone who pass this mortal world and pays attention to hereafter, and by acquiring the cognition has taken step from misdirection’s backwater toward guidance garden.

I have asked from a sagacious about world’s condition

He said “it is like sleeping or a delusion or a fiction”

I said “tell me about lifetime’s that what is it”

He said “it is like a flash or candle or butterfly”

I said “tell me about the people who are in love with this world”

He said “they are blind or insane or crazy”
