Ashura,The Last 24 hours

“Ashura”, the Signal day

The day of Ashura is divided into three parts and naturally, different happenings give credence to this division.

1-      The first part of the day (one third): It is around morning. In-between Interactions, interviews and Interpersonal negotiations make the time go like a wind. The defense of defenders and the speeches of orators put in a lot of time defending honor, life, sanctuary and respect of the prophet (s) family members.

2-      Middle third (battle and blood): It is determined to fight. War and warriors put in time of middle third (second part of the day). Warriors, then, fall to the ground.

3-      The last third (pillage and plunder): The day is about to end when the wicked men rebel. Rapture of win makes them to plunder insanely. According to Plato of wisdom, this is when the neglect surrounds the superior- half of men and the fearsome force of inferior jumps out of bed and stands up. Now that humanity is passed into absence and inhuman is wakeful, at its earliest convenience, the inferior half seizes the opportunity to indulge in pleasure and feed the violent wishes. Surely, the inferior-half seeks nothing but violent wish.

Although detectable in every single being, these dispensable passions are often repressed by law and controls.  Nevertheless, it is not the case in all men. Having the benefit of wisdom and rationality and seeking help of clean wishes, the perfect wise men suppress lusts and passions. They eventually rose to a state in which a few pale passions and wishes remain, if ever. Besides, weak-spirited never succeed to mortify their passions and wrong wishes.  They are those in whom lusts and passions rebel.

These dirty pleasures (such as rushing with the horse on a dead body) become manifest in those devoid of humanity. Those who are in the apparent sleep and there is no sign of rouse suggested in their ugly face. The well-mannered part of wisdom that rules the passion is asleep, the beastly part, however, jumps out of the bed, revived, eaten his fill and determined to gratify his passions.  Considering the lust gratifying, the beastly part, devoid of thinking, reasoning and modesty, ignores all that is good and does everything that did not dare before. The beastly part (the inferior half) therefore, does not turn the face away from whatever filthy. So, men with beastly part aroused cast aspersion on their mother characters and trample them and any other person. They are not in doubt for gruesome murder. they eat without thought of wallowing in wretchedness.   To sum up, for such men, there is no limit to impudence and insanity.

Ashura, Morning, Afternoon:  Morning of light and Afternoon of Insanity

Ashura is the working day, the day in which brave savants of Islam have resisted proud and attacking forces of Bani-Omayeh. They have attacked to blot shame and infamy on their decaying reputation. In return for them, the wise resistances of Islam have tried to strengthen wisdom to prevail upon the folly of insanity and not to sink in the marsh of error. Therefore, lecturers in the camp of Islam give fiery, heart-felt and steering speeches as much as possible. But, surely, the morning of Ashura is the absolute opposite of the afternoon. on  the morning, although, the martyrs enlighten the wisdom and intellect of humanity in spectacular, logical and impressive moments, the afternoon is the place of insanity and madness of lust for those who are corrupt.  Speeches of those savants with the words of their thoughts filled the morning with a matinal breeze that could make a dead alive. on the afternoon, however, the place is filled with the body of martyrs. The body of those who have lost their hope to warn the astrays and sleep-strickens . already, deprived of life, they have drawn aside and found conformt with silence of a sweet death . Surely, they let all evildoers go astray and wanderers, surely, add to their wretchedness with their deeds and their wills.

In the middle-third of Ashura, between morning and afternoon, in the field of honor, among the dust, against the shining swords, the great men saw nothing but the light of salvation and the glory of deliverance. The light of honor is shining. Great men- the martyrs – smile back at this light. They look great and honored.  Certainly, this is enough for them.  Their only backer in the battlefield is nothing but the proud and glory they got for defending the family of prophet (s). Then, the sound of pain and unhappy groaning of the daughters of the glorious and dignified prophet of all beings touched them deeply to move and fight to the last breath.  Surely, they put the best end on their fight of holy duty and gave their life for this cause. Now, they are the inhabitants of eternity.

Indeed, first, middle and last third of Ashura all prevail over one another in weight and importance.
