Methodical testing and assessment is a Divine Tradition

Imam Ali (AS) said: Swear to God who appointed the Prophet (PBUH) based on Divine Truth, you will be tested severely, like a seed which is placed in a sieve, or food which is placed in a pot, you will be disarranged, and will be turned upside down, until what is down comes up, and what is up goes down. Those who have good records in Islam and so far have been isolated, will be in charge, and those who went forward unjustifiably, will be pushed back [1].
