THE 1ST IMAM(A.S)

On the 13th of Rajab Hazrat Ali (A.S.) was born in the Khana Kaaba. At the time of birth his mother Fatima Bintey Asad went to the Khana Kaaba and stood at the opposite side of the door and Allah separated the wall of the Kaaba and that is where she entered in from, and the wall closed behind her. Three days after the birth of Imam Ali (A.S.), Hazrat Mohammad (saw) came to the Kaaba and Fatima Bintey Asad came out with the child and gave it to the prophet. When our beloved Imam was born his mother at the time gave him the name Haider and Asad and Allah named him Ali (A.S.). Our Imam was described as having a fair complexion, and big eyes, and middle heightened person with a handsome outlook. 
MARRIAGE 
Hazrat Imam Ali (A.S.) was married in 2nd Hijri (after migration) to Hazrat Fatima Zahra (A.S.) the only daughter of our prophet Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (saw) 
CHILDREN 
Our Imam had four children from Bibi Fatima whom were named Hazrat Imam Hasan (A.S.), Hazrat Imam Husain (A.S.), Bibi Zainab (A.S.), and Bibi Umay Kulsoom (A.S.). The other children of Hazrat Ali from his other wives were Hazrat Abbas ( Qamer-e-Bani Hashim ), Jafer, Usman, Abdullah, Yahya, Mohammad Asghar, Aun, and Mohammad Hanafia. 
QUALATIES 
Our Imam was a noble man who was honest in ways and just to all. He was also very brave and fearless. He was a very helpful person even to his enemies. His qualities are such that they are indescribable and endless. 
BATTLES 
The battles of Bader, Uhad, Khandaq, Hunain, Khaiber, Taaif, Tabook, Jammal, Siffeen, and Neherwan were fought by Hazrat Ali for Islam and were fought with power and fearlessness which proves he was truly an strong and powerful man. 
CAUSE OF DEA 
On the 19th of Ramzan (Ramadan) 40 hijri when mola Ali a.s. Was praying Fajir salat in the Mosque of Kufa. Abdul Rehman ibne-Muljim attacked on Mola Ali's head with a poisoned sword while he was in sajdah. He died on 21st Ramzan 
BURIAL 
Imam Ali (A.S.) is buried in Najaf-e-Ashraf
