I feel incompetent to describe the traits and characteristics of the Prophets and the Innocent Ones(a.s).
This layer of society excel all other human beings in their intelligence and wisdom, in their pureness of soul and body, in their insights and knowledge, in their sincerity and honor, in their loyalty and keeping their words, in their trustworthiness, in their fulfilment of duties and tasks, in their closeness to God, in their culture, in their affection, in their generosity, in their vigilance, in their spiritual traits and in their chastity.
This layer of society is created to lead man towards the right way.
The task of the Prophets(a.s) sometimes forces them to cope with the foolish ones and to tolerate the tortures of the enemies and the ridicule of the infidels. However, they have always stood firm and steady in their godly mission.
The Prophets(a.s) are obedient to God and ready to lead people. Encouragement or discouragement of people will not have any impact on them.
Due to the teachings of these Prophets (a.s), men can kill the devil of lusts and unfounded desires inside themselves.
God’s Prophets consider two facts as crucial in their leadership of people towards perfection:
1) Trimming.
2) Embellishment.
1) By trimming we mean the refinement and purification of one’s self: Purifying it from the ethical mischief and providing one’s self with the light of faith.
2) And by embellishment we mean the acquisition of knowledge and spiritual virtues.
