The extensive mercy of Allah Almighty is in a way that the servant is incapable of thanking and being grateful for and can only remain in a shameful state. One of the manifestations of Allah's mercy is that not only the doer of a good action is rewarded by Allah but also the one who intends to do that action but the conditions are not met, is also rewarded by the Lord of the universe.
