Ahead of National Week of Holy Defense, a graduation ceremony that included granting ranks and epaulets, was held for Iran's Police Academy students, the Commander-in-Chief of Iran's Armed Forces--Imam Khamenei--was in attendance.
At this meeting Imam Khamenei slammed attempts of US to breach the JCPOA. He said, "Every day the US government exposes a new side of its viciousness, thus proving Imam Khomeini's words true: The US government is the Great Satan."
The Leader of the Revolution went on to say: Today we witness, despite all the contracts, deals, and multiple talks regarding the JCPOA, the attitudes of the US towards the negotiations and their outcomes are totally oppressive, hounding, and cruel.
Imam Khamenei gave the enemies a warning in case of breaching the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, reached between Iran and the P5+1 regarding Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, by saying: Any wrong move, by the domineering powers towards the JCPOA, will face the Islamic Republic’s response. The Iranian nation stands strong.
He added: The enemies must know that if bullying works elsewhere in the world, it won't ever work for the Islamic Republic of Iran. Retreating has no place in our policies when it comes to our national interests.
Imam Khamenei criticized US officials, stating: Corrupt, lying and deceitful US officials blatantly and falsely accuse Iran of lying. They are the liars as they allow the fulfillment of their own illegitimate interests at any cost.
