It is narrated from Imam Reza (AS) who said: The only enemy of the human being is his/her own ignorance [1]; and this ignorance has nothing to do with illiteracy. The ignorance against knowledge is not very dangerous; ignorance against wisdom is dangerous (in here, ignorance means lack of wisdom and not illiteracy). There are lots of people who have not been to universities or other educational establishments but they have something to control themselves with, they go to specialists and seek advice, they have self-control. The wisdom that stands against ignorance, is human’s friend, it controls the human being.
