One biggest power

 

This is very difficult but important work

Purification heart means to pure us from spiritual pollution according to the religious law. Though it is very difficult work. It is unbearable but this is the correct way of good fortune, deliverance and success and auspiciousness. The Holy Quran says in Sura Shams Ayat no. 9 that

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّاهَا

“He will indeed be successful who purifies it.”

(Surah Shams 91:9)

Allah says in Sura Nahl Ayat no 97

مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ

“We will most certainly make him live a happy life.”???

(Surah Nahl 16:97)

He is not getting a treasury without working hard. He gets his wages if he works hard. Certainly he gets reward in the hereafter if he works hard in the world.

Allah says in Sura Haqqah Ayat 24,???

كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِي الْأَيَّامِ الْخَالِيَةِ

“Eat and drink pleasantly for what you did beforehand in the days gone by.”

(Surah Haqqah 69:24)

Phycholoegical Analysis

Phychological analysis means after purification of mind whatever is needed is phychological analysis means it is the decoration of mind. And decoration of mind is imagination of Allah and invocation of Allah’s name. A thing that is necessary is, seeing the universe and worth consideration about Allah and to always remembering Him. Allah says in Sura Ale Imran Ayat no. 189/190.

وَلِلّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاللّهُ عَلَىَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لآيَاتٍ لِّأُوْلِي الألْبَابِ

“Most surely in the creation of the heaven and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day there are signs for men who understand. Those who remember Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: Our Lord! Thou hast not created this in vain! Glory be to Thee, save us then from the chastisement of the fire.”????

(Surah Ale Imran 3:189-190)

Worthy Consideration

Allah says in Sura Rum Ayat no. that????

“Do they not reflect within themselves: Allah did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but with truth and (for) an appointed term? And most surely most of the people are deniers of the meeting of their Lord.”

Worldly Progress

Now consider this Ayat, Sura Rum Ayat no. 7.

يَعْلَمُونَ ظَاهِرًا مِّنَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ عَنِ الْآخِرَةِ هُمْ غَافِلُونَ

“They know the outward of this world’s life, but of the hereafter they are absolutely heedless.”

Now a days people’s condition is like this. Their thinking is limited up till world. That is why they content with the worldly instruction only. They make their own world. That is why today a man has worked surprisingly in the worldly progress. A man has been attained perfection in agriculture and other scientific knowledge. Even a man has been progressed in science of medicine. Now, the heart surgery is also become easy and also changes the heart but it is very sad that people do not pay attention towards spiritual disease of the heart. New inventions of lives are available today but have not made arrangement for the satisfaction of the heart. A man has reached in the atmosphere environment and has traveled thirty lakhs twenty two thousand kilo metre far from the earth but have not controlled on their mind. He has reached on such places where we did not guess to reach there but according to the spiritual he stepped backward and has become worst than animals. He come to know that solar system is in the old age but then also he does not think of world’s destruction. He sees many men dying everyday and he knows that no one can remain left but it does not effect on him but the future life after the death does not come to mind.

One more world

People do not think that there is a device that is hidden in every worldly thing, and then there will be advice of existence of the world also. The world would not been created without any reason. Therefore there is one more life after the death and there is one more world also after this world. And that world is not horrible like this world. A man can reach to happiness and state of rest.

This world is for recognition

Allah has given wisdom and ability to a man that he would consider on this world and gets knowledge through it. See this that tiny creature has art to do something and obtain assurance on Allah and think that there would be skill in his creation. He can make it easy to refer the Holy book of Allah and the Hadith of Muhammad and Alay Muhammad (s.a.w.s.). Hewill come to know that he has born recognize Allah and His worship. He has been created to get good attribution and perfection and has been created for approach till the life of the world and the hereafter. He has been created to see all these blessings that he cannot guess of it. Allah says in Sura Sajdah Ayat no. 17.

فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَّا أُخْفِيَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاء بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

“So no soul knows what is hidden for them of that which will refresh the eyes, a reward for what they did.”

(Surah Sajadah 32:17)

In other words, Allah has created human being, one perishable world and one everlasting world. Allah wants that we should see manifesting divine mercy and beneficence means to consider of Allah’s bounties, skill, charity and mercy and then see Allah’s grandeur and dignity that means consider of Allah’s justification and curse on the unjust people. There are many Ayats of Quran have been mentioned till today. We are contented with it.

Consideration and anxiety is the best worship

Hazrat Amirul Mo-mineen (a.s.) was saying admonish yourself by means of consideration and anxiety. Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) says,

Be anxious about best worship of Allah and His commands.

(From Usul al-Kafi Bab Tafakkar).

Imam Ali Reza (a.s.) says,

“Keep up prayer and fast is not a worship. To be worried and considered about Allah’s work is the real worship.”

Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) says mostly the worship of Abu Zar’s (r.a.) was to be worried and anxious about Allah and take a lesson from it. Another tradition of Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) is recorded along with this that to be considered for once hour is very much better than worship of one year and only the wise people accept this guidance.

Standard of worship depends on knowledge of God. As a result of consideration and anxiety the recognition will be increased and its rewards also. Perhaps it should not be obtained from the worship of less recognition of one year and would obtained from the worship of one hour. It does not mean that a man should give up prayer and only worries and considers. Hazrat Amirul Mo-mineen (a.s.) says if people would think about Allah’s grandeur and his blessings, they would come to the right path and would fear of punishment of the hell. (From Nahjul Balagah).

“Consideration and anxiety is the cause of good deed.”

Hazrat Ali (a.s.) says, sonsideration and anxiety call us towards good deeds and visit us to practice on it. Allamah Majlisi says, in the detail of this Hadith that this Hadith contains all kinds of consideration and anxiety. To consider on Allah’s grandeur prepares people for fear of God and to obey Him. And this makes them thought about the perishable world and its bounties that he can give up by the command of Allah. In this way taking a lesson from other they find the way of their reform. Unjust and cruel persons get punishment in the world from Allah or the worldly people then he ties to protect from the bad deeds and bad manners. Considering the divine secret of worship and hint he knows the target and performs his prayers with great attention. Considering the high stages of the hereafter a man running about to get it. The result of his consideration a man act upon the commands of religion and Islamic laws and protects from sin. And in this way he gets benefits to consider about good attribution and good manners and he himself decorated it.

Style of worries

Hasan Saikal says that I asked Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) that people copied out the tradition of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) that to think about one hour is better than to perform the prayers standing whole night. So in what style he should consider and worry in this connection? Imam (a.s.) said he should pass by the ruins or deserted place and should ask the ruins, where are they who were residing in you? Where are people who built you? What has happened to you? Why don’t you speak? (None of you to speak, all have passed away).

Consideration and anxiety is the way of recognition

Big and small creations of the universe are the signs of Allah. A man knows by considering about that there is a creator of each creation. Some one is there to set in motion the things. In this way when a man thinks, he finds some expediency and necessity in each creation. Hence he understands that creator of these things is very powerful. His wisdom and strength is unlimited. Allah has been holding up carefully the whole system of universe. Whether animals or the human beings. He has made the system of their lives very carefully. Human can also controls the arrangement up till limit. He has got wisdom and bravery. Wisdom and bravery and ability to control an arrangement is also a creation of the universe. And human being himself is a creation. He was not before but created afterwards. Is the creator of the wise people can be ignorant?

Needles of the clock

The famous philosopher and a writer ‘Waltar’ (born in 1694 and died in 1774) has been included among the wisest men of the world. He writes in his book Qamoos Philosophy that the best way to reach up to the mystic knowledge is that we should not notify only the system of universe only but we should be attentive to its intentions and skills that all creatures are created.

He says when I see a clock that its bell shows the different time I declared the result at once that certainly this clock is made by sensible man so that it shows the time by organized way. When I see the parts of my body, the result is declared that certainly some intellectual has made these organs of the body to lead the life well mannerly (from vocabulary of Quran pg. No 356)

The condition of the needles of a clock is that a special machine is made and the needles of hours, minutes and seconds are fixed. If one needle is failed, the whole clock does not work. An intelligent man has made it very carefully. When this is a condition of this small clock then surely such vast universe and well-arranged systan of the universe is also made by The Knower, The Wise.

The Body structure

The structure of the body is very astonishing thing. It has systems of chewing swallowing, digesting etc. Besides, it includes the system of developing and increasing generation. It has an arrangement of making new blood and purifying blood. It has different kinds of organs like heart, liver, kidney, eyes, ears etc and most of all an amazing thing are wisdom and it has also ability of give senses. To consider about each and every thing we amazed. Indeed that Allah the Powerful has been created all these things.

Our Holy Quran says in sura Saffat Ayat no. 96

وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

“And Allah has created you and what you make.”

(Surah Saffat 37:96)

 

Allah has given a man an ability of doing all works. Allah has given intelligence and understanding power and of course he has given power that he should utilize his ability correctly or wrongly, he would get his result.

Habit or Warning

According to habit if a man will look carelessly to the things, he would not get prudence or knowledge. He should observe all these things with sense and manners so he can take a lesson from it. And in this way he can think Allah’s unlimited wisdom and strength. Seeing a new thing a man says bravo! What a wonderful thing! This is his imagination. Allah says in the Holy Quran in Sura Yusuf Ayat no 105.

وَكَأَيِّن مِّن آيَةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ يَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهَا وَهُمْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضُونَ

“And how many a sign in the heavens and the earth which they pass by, yet they turn aside from it.”

(Surah Yusuff 12:105)

Study it

To practice the consideration and for recognition of Allah, studying the ayats of the Holy Quran. Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) discussed four points about oneness of Allah to his follower Mufazzal. And said study it. There are many books besides the Holy Quran, read it. There are many details about the earth and the sky and other creatures. Your knowledge can be increase by reading it. We give some details in brief to increase the knowledge.

Infidel king and Pious Wazir

It is said that in previous time was a materialistic infidel king and his wazir was very pious. One-day wazir thought to give him advice. It was not an easy task. Wazir built a magnificent palace in the jungle without informing the king and planted the different kinds of fruits and flowers around it. One day the king and his wazir passed by that palace while hunting. The king surprised and asked who has built this palace? I have passed by this way a several times but I have not seen it before. The wazir said – It is possible that it has been built automatically. The king said ‘How is it be possible? The wazir said here the storm comes in the sea very often. It is possible that stones might be separated from the mountains and gathered here by floating because of the storm of the sea. Then by chance they might be gathered on one after another. The same condition of these trees and plants that are grow here because of the storms. The king said no one would agree with you. This splendid palace cannot build without the help of skilled are hitect. You must inquire that who has built it here? The wazir said you said that none could agree that this palace is constructed automatically. Then surely some one has built it intentionally. Is the body structure not important than this structure? Besides human beings all beasts and all kinds of vegetables are not astonished more than this? Can any wise man tell this, seeing the system of whole universe that all these are made without any source? Hearing this the king became ready to think over it and he also became a pious.

Discussion of Ali Bin Misam

Ali Bin Misam was a great Shia Scholar in the time of Mamoon Rashid. Shaikh Mufid says, one day Ali Bin Misam went to Hasan Bin Sahal the vazir of Mamoon Rashid. One secular man was sitting by Hasan sahal. People were giving him great respect and were listening his unbecoming gossip. Ali Bin Misam became very sad. He said – I have seen a very strange thing today. People asked what he has seen? He replied – I saw a boat without a boatman on the bank of river Dajla. People were crossing the river in that boat. That secular man asked, O Vazir! Do not listen to him. He has no sense and he has become a mad. A boat is made of wood and inorganic matter and no need of wisdom, sense and device to sail the boat without boatman. Ali Bin Misam said. That is absurd you called me a mad because a boat without a boatmen. The sun, the moon, the earth and all drops of sky and all present things in it how are moving. Their arrangement is made properly and you say that the boat of vast universe is sailing without a boatman! And besides it you consider yourself as an intelligent. That secular man ashamed and knew that he has made a story to give him guidance this incident is written in the book of scholar Shaikh Abbas Kummi Tahfatul Ahbab pg no. 237.

Whiteness and Yolk of an egg

Abu Shakir Desani was a religious hypocrite. One day he came to Imam Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) and said “O Ja’far Ibne Muhammad! Take me to my Lord.” Hazrat (a.s.) said Take a seat. He sat. At that time a child was playing with an egg holding in his hand. Hazrat (a.s.) asked that child – Son! Give me this egg. A child gave him that egg. Then Imam (a.s.) asked Desani, see this egg is like a strong fort and its strong peel is covered around it. Under this peel is a thin skin and under this thin skin like silver water floating inside and a Yolk like gold in the middle of it. But whitish does not mix with a Yolk or a Yolk does not mix with whitish. They do not come out automatically from an egg. We don’t know, what will come out from it, male chick or a female chick. After a few days, a chick breaks the peel from inside and a beautiful chick like a peacock’s beautiful feathers. O, Daisani! The reason of its creation is Allah the Wise and Powerful or your imagination? How is it come into existence automatically? Abu Shakir Daisani bowed down his head and raised his head suddenly and said – “I bear witness that there is no god but one God and I bear witness that Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) is His Rasul (s.a.w.s.). Whatever my belief was at first, I repent for it.

Words of Allah

There are numerous signs of Allah and there are many proofs of His oneness Allah says in Sura Kahaf Ayat no. 109. ????

قُل لَّوْ كَانَ الْبَحْرُ مِدَادًا لِّكَلِمَاتِ رَبِّي لَنَفِدَ الْبَحْرُ قَبْلَ أَن تَنفَدَ كَلِمَاتُ رَبِّي وَلَوْ جِئْنَا بِمِثْلِهِ مَدَدًا

“Say, if the sea were ink for the words of my Lord, the sea would surely be consumed before the words of my Lord are exhausted, though We were to bring the like of that (sea) to add thereto.”

(Surah Kahaf 18:109)

Every creation is the world of Allah. His wisdom and Power and kindred give evidence of His uniqueness. And says about Allah and His unlimited attributes. According to the wise man each leaf of the green tree is the book of Allah’s recognition.

One biggest power

Consider about yours and others condition. A man intends to do work firmly but in a few days his intention comes to end. Many works he precedes further. He has faith so get good result of it but does not get the result. On the contrary sometimes the result deduced against expectation. Losing the hopes, perplexity gives evidence of this that a biggest natural power controls his condition. The details are given of the topic of polytheism. We produce some famous incidents for the details briefly.

Shaddad could not see his self made heaven

A city was made by command of the king Shaddad. Its four sides were one hundred and twenty miles long. The bricks of the buildings were of gold and silver. The trees wer also made of silver and gold. Diamonds and precious stones were fixed in the place of fruits. The upper surface of soil was made of pieces of coral and pearls. They were spreaded as this way that soil was not seen. When Shaddad was informed that his heaven is completed, he went to enjoy himself in side but he could not enter one step in side and his last time approached and he died.

Firon disappointed in chase

Firon was chasing to Hazrat Musa (a.s.) and Bani Israil along with six lakhs people so that he can arrest them and punish them. When they reached to the Nile. Then by the miracle of Hazrat Musa (a.s.) twelve paths made in to the sea. Bani Israil crossed the sea. Firon also followed them with his armies when his whole army reached in the middle, the path into the sea disappeared by the command of Allah and the whole army along with Firon drowned.

Namrud, Abraha and Hazrat Sulaiman (a.s.)

Namrud throw Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s.) in the blazing fire to kill him but the fire did not burn him and Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s.) came out from the fire safe and sound. At last Namrud died because of mosquito entered in his nose.

Abraha with his large army and elephants moved towards Ka’aba to demolish it. But he disappointed when he reached there because Allah sent a swarm of birds, which had three corns of soil in its mouth. He threw these three corns on them and they all destroyed.

One day Hazrat Sulaiman said I want to take rest today. Do not come anyone to me. Then he went on the roof and stood there with the support of his staff. And he passed away from the world in the same condition.

Remembrance of Allah

Remember means there are two kinds remembrance of Allah. Obligatory and Desirable. Obligatory mentioning is on three situations. The first situation, is when a man sees the created thing, he should remember Allah. He should consider about His unlimited power and skill and His other attributes and recognize Him. And think that fountainhead of abundent bounties are because of Allah and should love Him heartily. In the first stage of recognition of Allah remembrance of Allah is obligatory. When a man recognized Allah and loves Him and becomes enamoured of Him then it is desirable to remember Allah means it will be desirable that when he will see any creature, he remember Allah. When also he would see any good thing, he should consider it Allah’s grace and should not forget Allah in any circumstances. Such remembrance of Allah is he best worship. There are many ayats in the Holy Quran such as:

Sura Alay Imran Ayat no. 190 and Sura Araf Ayat no. 74. Our Holy Quran says:

وَاذْكُرُواْ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاء مِن بَعْدِ عَادٍ وَبَوَّأَكُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورًا وَتَنْحِتُونَ الْجِبَالَ بُيُوتًا فَاذْكُرُواْ آلاء اللّهِ وَلاَ تَعْثَوْا فِي الأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ

“Those who remember Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth.” “Remember therefore Allah’s benefits and do not act corruptly in the land, making mischief.”

(Surah Ale Imran 3:190)

In the same way the Holy Quran says in Sura Baqarah Ayat 200.

فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا

“So when you have performed your devotions, then land Allah as you lauded your fathers, rather a greater lauding.”

(Surah Baqarah 2:200)

Pride on fathers and grandfathers

In the beginning, after performing the Hajj, the polytheists of Arab were staying in Meena for a few days and were expressing their thoughts and pride of their ancestors among the different tribes of people. To prevent them from this, Allah sent revelation that Pride of one’s family is the proud only and nothing else that can be beneficial to their children in the hereafter. When as Allah has been granted all His bounties along with his father and fore fathers? Allah brought up through their mediation. Hence graces are from Allah only and He is more Praise worthy than their ancestors. Allah grants all materialistic grace along with spiritual grace also. Our Holy Quran says in Sura Baqarah Ayat no. 198.

لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَبْتَغُواْ فَضْلاً مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَإِذَا أَفَضْتُم مِّنْ عَرَفَاتٍ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ عِندَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ وَاذْكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَاكُمْ وَإِن كُنتُم مِّن قَبْلِهِ لَمِنَ الضَّآلِّينَ

“And remember Him as He has guided you, though before that you were certainly of the erring ones.”

(Surah Baqarah 2:198)

 

The Holy Quran says in Sura Jumah in Ayat no 10:

فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيراً لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

“But when the prayer is ended, then disperse abroad in the land and seek of Allah’s grace and remember Allah much, that you may be successful.”

(Surah Jummah 62:10)

 

“Every time remembrance and thanks”

Getting Allah’s grace and remembered Him increasing knowledge, love and faith. As long as if do not get recognition, love and faith, obligatory to remember Allah and after that desires and faith enhance. Seeing grace of Allah and remember Allah is gratefulness. But every time remember Allah and show our gratefulness is difficult and impossible also. Allah’s grace is unlimited and negligence from people is also too much. Our Holy Quran says in Sura Ibrahim Ayat no. 34.

وَآتَاكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُ وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ لاَ تُحْصُوهَا إِنَّ الإِنسَانَ لَظَلُومٌ كَفَّارٌ

“And if you count Allah’s favours, you will not be able to number them.”

(Surah Ibrahim 14:34)

 

One Breath

A man is inhaling more than twenty thousand in twenty four hours. He remains unmindful in sleeping hours but after awaking he does not pay attention to favour like breathing. It breathing stops for a few minutes a man will die at once: Sa’ad Shirazi has stated when breathe goes inside causes the base of life and when comes out gives refreshing. Therefore there are two blessing in every breathe and should be grateful for each breathe. In what manner can thank to Allah. The whole creatures along with angels together cannot return the thanks to Allah.

Forgets Ourselves

One who remembers Allah more and more a man will got the pleasures and benefits of both the worlds. To forsake Allah’s remembrance becomes a victim of misfortune and deprivation and also forsakes his own soul and does not justify himself and does not get auspiciousness from the way of good belief and good deeds. Allah says in Sura Hashr in Ayat 19 “And be not like those who forsook Allah, so He made them forsake their own souls.” Such people forget to obtain provision for hereafter for themselves.

“Human is not the name of Physique.”

From reasonable and unreasonable arguments we come to know that the fact of human being is his soul and his body is his conveyance or his mediation. The whole movement of his body is due to his soul. When soul passes away from the body, the body cannot make any movement and his body decays but after the death, the soul remains. It does not die. The soul is eternal and remains till everlasting. The soul insists to do good work by means of physically and after expelled from the body gets benefits and lives in peace. But if it makes a man to do bad deeds by body it suffers a lot afterwards. Common people consider the materialistic life is every thing for him. He thinks, he will be perished after the death. He thinks, he will be perishing after the death. He thinks, his body is everything for him that is why he does what ever he likes for his body but does not think of his soul. He abstains from all comforts and delicacy for the safety of his body but does not care for his soul. He spends his wealth for the major operation but causes to grow up his spiritual disease. His soul will be in painful chastisement for thousand of year between the period of death and resurrection but he does not care of it. A man forgets his soul, means his existence. This is the result of forsake Allah.

We do not say that do not treat medically if you are sick. It is essential to take treatment so that he can accomplish his work according to Allah’s commands. We say one should treat his soul along with the treatment of the body because the remedy of soul thousand times more important than the remedy of body. The future life is very long in compare of the short life of the world. There the troubles are very hard than the worldly troubles. We should make arrangement from the troubles of the hereafter. We are suffering a lot in the world from the spiritual disease. This trouble is very hard than bodily pain. Observe this that materialistic comforts do not remove the spiritual troubles.

Worries of obligatory and unlawful act

Secondly when remembrance of Allah is obligatory. A man should remember while doing obligatory or unlawful act and should not be neglect in doing obligatory act and abstain from unlawful act. For instance should not break fast without any reason in the month of Ramzan, perform Hajj, as it is obligatory. Pay Zakat or Khums as soon as the ending of the year. He should remember Allah in his trouble and should not disappoint from blessings of Allah. When a person mentioning Allah in the matter of unlawful and obligatory acts then if a chance of desirable situation would be better he should perform his work according to his strength and favourable turn of circumstances.

It is desirable that he should salute first when he meets a Muslim person and if anyone salutes, then it is obligatory to return salutation. He should show his kindness towards others and his relatives. For example if his relative is sick, he should visit him. If he has involved in same perplexity, he should try to remove his difficulty. For instance if his relatives become sad for not visiting them in their time of sickness or difficulty then it is desirable to treat them nicely. (Certainly if there is clash between permission of relatives and Allah’s will then Allah’s will is most important)

The same thing is to come across the unlawful acts. At this time it is obligatory on human being to remember Allah. If you have a doubt or fear to come under, the influence of an evil eye, hang down one’s head or not to look at. If a doubt to hear unlawful sound, he should stop it or should retreat from there. If he has a fear of unlawful speech slip out from the tongue, he should fear of Allah. If he wants to prevent himself from the unlawful things, he should abstain from unbecoming things. Anyhow he should not forget Allah (And remember Allah more and more).

Best and most difficult work

According to the tradition of Usul al-Kafi and the book of faith and infidelity, in the chapter of justification is written that Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) as has stated that there are three best deeds. (And in one tradition is written about rigid and difficult acts. In the beginning of one more tradition is given that as long as if a true believer does not pass in the trial of three things, he would feel these very difficult (1) If you want justification according to your own will, you do not like other thing up to that, if you would be pleased for others for the same things.

Be kind with the religious persons (if they are poor, help them).

Remember Allah every time. Mentioning Allah every time is not like this only “All praise is for Allah the Lord of the worlds” (Though it is important) On the contrary to remember Allah means that when some times it happens to accomplish the work that Allah has forbidden for it.” There are four Hadithes of these topics available in Usul al-Kafi.

“Importance of invoking Allah’s name”

Importance of invoking Allah’s name becomes known nicely. If take no notice of lawful or unlawful things then invoking Allah’s name is useless orally or no more benefit for it. This is mentioned in the beginning of a book named Gunah-e-Kabira. Here mentioning of this verse of the Holy Quran is sufficient. Our Holy Quran says in Sura Maidah Ayat 27

 

لَئِن بَسَطتَ إِلَيَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقْتُلَنِي مَا أَنَاْ بِبَاسِطٍ يَدِيَ إِلَيْكَ لَأَقْتُلَكَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللّهَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

“Allah only accepts from those who guard (against evil).”

(Surah Maidah 5:27)

This is an observation

As a fact, invoking Allah is that each and every person should believing Allah to be Omnipresent and Ommscent and should not turns his face from the commands of Allah. This is an observation only and this is the source of deliverance of every kinds of destruction: Even living in society, attention towards Allah should be impressed upon the mind and this kind of observation helps to reach man to the stage of perfection.

Allah is the Protector of His people. In Arabic custodian mean Raqib. Allah has been appointed His angles of speech and speed of His people. They write good or bad deeds of very people every time by command of Allah. People should also know that Allah is their supporter and should not do any wrong deeds in His presence. We are mentioning some fables for diversity.

Hazrat Yusuf (a.s.) and Zulaikha

It is written in a book Ihya-ul-Uloom. It is said that when Zulaikha locked up Hazrat Yusuf (a.s.) in her private room then she took out her veil from her head immediately and put it on an idol and which was set up in her room. Hazrat Yusuf (a.s.) asked reason Zulaikha said, hence I want that I would embrace you but I felt shy, of my idol so I have covered it with my veil so that it cannot see me.

Hazrat Yusuf (a.s.) said, You feel shy of this man made idol which is made of mineral, then you do not feel shy from Allah who is the master of whole universe. Hence Hazrat Yusuf (a.s.) ran away from there. At last a tiny kid gave his witness of Hazrat Yusuf (a.s.)’s chastity from his cradle. And step-by-step Hazrat Yusuf (a.s.) became the king of of Mirer and Zulaikha also became his wife according to the Islamic law. Its detail is present in Sura Yusuf in the Holy Quran.

Allah is seeing

One venerable aged teacher was giving more attention on one of his disciples. People asked him the reason. He said you will know afterwards. One day on appropriate time he gave one one hen to all his disciples and said to slaughter these hens where no one can see you, all disciples went and slaughtered their hens and brought to him but his particular disciple brought his hen alive. The teacher asked him the reason in front of others. He said you ordered us to go to such place and slaughter this hen where no one see me, but where ever I went I found Allah Omnipresent and Omniscient

(“Makhuzana Havamaha Baiyanat”, 
written by Imam Fakhruddin Razi pg. 206).

A story of Shepherd

This incident is written in Havamaha Baiyanat on page no 206 that one day Abdullah bin Umar met a shepherd who was grazing his cattles. He asked the shepherd, sell one sheep to me. He said, this is not mine and my master has not allowed me to sell. Ibne Umar said sells it to me and keeps money with you and tells your master that a sheep is takes away by a wolf. The shepherd said, then where will Allah go? Means if my master is not present here but Allah is here. This incident of the shepherd effected on his mind. Abdulla Ibne Umar went to Shepherd’s master, purchased it from him and freed him. Then he purchased all his goats and sheep from him and gave it to the shepherd as a reward. Then onwards Abdullah Ibne Umar was repeating the small sentence of the shepherd every time “Where will Allah go”?

A True believer of Allah

This incident is written in Tarikhe Zari Vol. 4 pg no. 16. When Muslims conquered the city of Madune. They got a chance to collect booty from public exchequer. They collected whatever they can. A man came there. He had an unprocurable box in his hand. People doubted that this man has been taken away some thing from it. They asked have you taken away any thing from this box? He said – If I would not believing Allah to be Omnipresent and Omniscient I would not bring the whole box to you. They asked – who are you? He said – I don’t want to introduce my self that you would appreciate me. People added up that box and chased after him. He went to his own tribe. They came to know, that he was “Aamir Bin Abde Qais.”

Orally invocation

The third kind of invocation of Allah that is obligatory is a verbally invocations. Some obligatory prayers are included int it. Such as daily prayers of give times, Namaz-e-Maiyyet, special prayer of eclipse, prayer of circumambulation of the Holy Ka’aba and late prayers etc. As it is mention in the book Gunah-e-Kabira about importance of prayer and its rewards and painful punishment for giving up. Prayer is verbally invocation and it is obligatory. Refer the verses of the Holy Quran regarding proofs. Sura Jummah Ayat 9 and Sura Taha Ayat no. 14.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِي لِلصَّلَاةِ مِن يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

“O you who believe! When the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trading, that is better for you, if you know.”

(Surah Jumah 62:9)

وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَيْكَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى

“Therefore serve Me and keep up prayer for My remembrance.”

(Surah Taha 20:14)

 

Tasbihate Arba

After converted to Islam it is desirable to say “Ashhado un La ilaha illallah.” I bear witness that there is no God but one God.” Alhamdo Lillah, Subhanallah or Allaho Akbar. In this way Tashihate Arba means to say Subhanal lahe, Wal Hamdo Lillahe Wa la ilaha illallaho wal laho Akbar or to say La Havlawala Quwwata Illa Billahe is desirable, Read supplications, sing a hyme, invoke Allah’s blessings on the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) and recite Quran Sharif is also desirable supplication.

It would be better if it is more

It is manifests that there is no limit of invoking Allah’s name. It is better for a man if he invokes more. Our Holy Quran says in Sura Ahzab in Ayat no. 41-42

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيراً وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا

“O you who believe! Remember Allah, remembering frequently. And glorify Him morning and evening.”

(Surah Ahzab 33:41-42)

Many traditions have been copied but regarding excellency of invocation of Allah is the book “Iddat-ud-Da’ee. But having regards for its curtailment, we are presenting one Ayat of the Holy Quran

“Sura Jummah Ayat no. 10.”

فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيراً لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

“And remember Allah much that you may be successful.”

(Surah Jummah 60:10)

Many desirable Namaaz, supplications, ??? and rehearsal of prayers and its accomplishment have been reached to us in plenty. If we recite all these for twenty-four hours, may be we can recite all these. Allah may give us more and more help.

Excellence of Namaz-e-Shab

Namaz-e-Shab has more importance than others desirable prayers. It has more importance than supererogatory prayers of five times. It has 11 Rakats and its timing is from midnight to dawn. There are many Ayats about to get up early before the sun rising and perform this prayer and beg pardon of Allah. The explanation is this that one who has reached to the spiritual stage, is due to get up early in the morning.

(Allah has been granted whatever auspiciousness is because of Namaz-e-Shab and recitation of supplication) Allah says in Sura Bani Israel Ayat no 79, that

وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِ نَافِلَةً لَّكَ عَسَى أَن يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُودًا

“And during the part of a night, pray Tahajjud (Namaz-e-Shab) beyond what is incumbent on you; may be your Lord will raise you to a position of great glory.”

(Surah Bani Isreal 17:79)

Certainly Namaz-e-Shab was obligatory on Paigambar-e-Islam (s.a.w.s.) and is also desirable for the followers of Hazrat (s.a.w.s.). Maqam-e-Mehmood means lofty station where the Holy Prophet’s Ascension took him, and people appreciates of it. Here Maqam-e-Mahmood for The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) means it is a greatest intercession of Hazrat (s.a.w.s.).

Many facilities have been given to the followers of Muhammadi regarding Namaz-e-Shab, and if a man does not pray from midnight to morning, he will not be punished but certainly this would be deprivation for him that cannot be recompensed. He will be disappointed to reach to the greater stages that are fixed for Shias of Alae Muhammad.

Emphasize on Namaz-e-Shab

The hadith of Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) is available in ‘Baladul Amin’ written by Khafahami

“He is not from our Shia who is not performing Namaze Shab. And Imam Muhammad Baqar (a.s.) says that” Those who believe in Allah and the hereafter, he should not pass the whole night without performing Namaz-e-Shab. And our Imam-e-Zamana (a.s.) has given three emphasizes while writing a letter to Abu Babiyah (1) Pray Namaz-e-Shab as it is necessary (2) Do pray Namaz-e-Shab (3) Pray Namaz-e-Shab without fail.

One who awakes at the time of day-break

As Allah has been emphasized for Namaz-e-Shab and to be wakeful early in the morning in the Holy Quran. For example He says in Sura Sajdah Ayat no 16-17 that,

تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ

“Their sides draw away from (their) beds) they call upon their Lord in fear and in hope and they spend (benevolently) out of what We have given them.”

(Surah Sajadah 32:16)

 

فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَّا أُخْفِيَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاء بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

“So no soul knows what is hidden for them of that which will refresh the eyes, a reward for what they did.”

(Surah Sajadah 32:17)

 

Allah says in Sura Zumar Ayat no. 9

أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَانِتٌ آنَاء اللَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَائِمًا يَحْذَرُ الْآخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُو رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُوا الْأَلْبَابِ

“What! He who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing, takes care of the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his Lord! Say: Are those who know and those who do not know alike? Only the mean of understanding are mindful.”

(Surah Zumar 39:9)

 

We come to know nicely that to pray Namaz-e-Shab and beg pardon of Allah is the sign of good knowledge, recognition and wisdom and to avoid doing is ignorance and foolishness.

Allah says in Sura Zariyat, Ayat from 15 – 19 that

 وَفِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ

“Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. Taking what their Lord gives them, surely they were before that the doers of good.

(Surah Zariyat 51:15-19)

They used to sleep but little in the night. And in the morning they asked forgiveness. And in their property was a portion due to him who begs and to him who is denied (good).”

26 Peculiarities of Namaz-e-Shab

The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said that Namaz-e-Shab is (1) Allah’s happiness (2) is the cause of friendship with angels (3) is the Holy Prophet’s practice (4) luminosity of the knowledge of Allah (5) firm foundation of the faith (6) comforting for the bodies. (7) it is the cause of disgust from Shaitan. (8) It is the mediation of victory on enemies. (9) It is the cause of prayer’s acceptance. (10) It is worthy acceptable of deeds (11) It is the reason for increase in sustenance. (12) It is the intercession at the time of death (that angel of death would seize the soul with ease) (13) It is the light of grave. (14) It is the carpet of the grave. (15) It will answer Munkar-Nakir when they cross questioning the dead in the grave (16) It is the companion of her namazi in the grave (17) It looks after her/him till the dooms day and when the resurrection day will appear (18) then it is the shade of her namazi for protection (19) It is the crown of his head (20) It is the garment of her namazi. (21) It is the light (22) It is the curtain between him and the fire of hell. (23) It is the proof in the presence of Allah. (24) It is the cause of good deeds to be heavier (25) It is the conveyance of to pass the narrow bridge in the hereafter. (26) It is the key of the door of the heaven.

Twenty-six peculiarities have been mentioned in this Hadith. The most important from these, is that Namaz-e-Shab is the strong foundation of mystic knowledge and the faith. One should not be neglect to get up early and to pray Namaz-e-Shab, contrary it should be always perform regularly so that God willing one should achieved high reward.

Details of Namaz-e-Shab

Perform 2 – 2 rakats Namaz four times (8 Rakats) recite any suras in these 8 rakats. Then perform 2 rakats Shafa and after finish the prayer perform 1 rakat namaz-e-Vitr. If it is possible recite 70 or 100 times Astagfar or recite Al-Afwa 300 times. If invoke blessings for forty momins for their absolution in Qunut is better. Many supplications have been instructed by Ahlay-Bait (a.s.) in this prayer. Especially dua no. 32 of Sahifa-e-Kamela and supplications of Beharul-Anwaar vol. 18 should recite in Qunut is very much better. Allah may give us good guidance.

Stages of faith

Imam Ali Reza (a.s.) has stated in the chapter of hypocrisy and faith of the book Usul al-Kafi. “Faith is one stage high from Islam. Fear of God is one stage high than faith and belief is one stage high than faith and belief is one stage high than fear of God. Nothing is distributed among the believers less from belief. Due to belief many things are available. A writer of Usul al-Kafi asked Imam Ali Reza (a.s.). “What is belief?” Imam (a.s.) said belief means trust in God. Bow down the head for sake of Allah, to be happy on Allah’s will and entrust the result of our deeds to Allah. Allamah Majlisi (r.a.) has been copied out the religious dogmas of this Hadith from other scholars “Knowledge of God and worship are two precious gems that all religious books, all traditions of scholars and guidance’s of sermons that what ever you read or listen are all for these two only. ON the contrary arrival of the Prophets and revelation of the Holy books are for them only. On the other hand what ever is in between the sky and the earth have been created to obtain effectiveness from them.

Allah says in Sura Talaq, Ayat no. 12 that:

وَمَرْيَمَ ابْنَتَ عِمْرَانَ الَّتِي أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِنَا وَصَدَّقَتْ بِكَلِمَاتِ رَبِّهَا وَكُتُبِهِ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْقَانِتِينَ

“Allah is He who created seven heavens and of the earth the like of them, the decree continues to descend among them, that your may know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah indeed encompasses all things in (His) Knowledge.”

(Surah Talaq 51:65-12)

And to know excellency of worship this ayat 56 of Sura Zariyat is sufficient

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ

“And I have not created the Jinn and the men except that they should serve Me.”

(Surah Zariyat 51:15-56)

Knowledge or recognition and worship both are together Both the necessary for each other. If recognition is factual than worship will also necessary and if real worship is there then recognition will also with it. Recognition and worship are the cause and causer for each other. Recognition becomes the cause of worship and worship becomes the cause of recognition. For example when worship is the cause of recognition then recognition is called the causer in technical term. Causer means the other thing would be the cause of it. The standard of recognition of Allah would be as much as more, worship also would be of the same measure. If recognition would increase then there will be increment in worship also. In the same way if worship would increase, recognition would also increase.

It is clear that recognition or worship means to know Allah and have faith on His angels, as they become the support of Allah. Allah’s book means to keep faith on they Holy Quran and the Prophets, specially the last Prophet (s.a.w.s.) and his Progeny (a.s.).

Allah says in Sura Baqrah in Ayat 285,

آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَمَلآئِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

“The apostle believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers, they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His apostles.”

(Surah Baqarah 2:285)

Our Holy Quran says in Sura Nisa in Ayat no. 136,

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ آمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِيَ أَنزَلَ مِن قَبْلُ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِاللّهِ وَمَلاَئِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلاَلاً بَعِيدًا

“O you who believe! Believe in Allah and His Apostle and the Book which He has revealed to His Apostle and the Book which He revealed before, and who ever disbelieves in Allah and His angels and His apostles and the last day, he indeed strays off into a remote error.”

(Surah Nisa 4:136)

Knowledge is the fountained head of belief. Belief is the verification of knowledge that would be justifiable and would be according to the fact. And first imagination is necessary verification and imagination and verification both is knowledge.

And infidelity is opposed to belief, means to hide the truth, do not believe in truth and the fountainhead of infidelity is an imperfect knowledge or fooly.

According to the religious law that belief is the name of verification of five things (1) Allah, (2) Angels, (3) Holy Books (4) Apostle and (5) the last day of resurrection.

Therefore it is obligatory to obtain knowledge and belief. Belief in Masoom Imams (a.s.) and The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) is included in the list of faith. The necessary result to bring faith on Prophet (s.a.w.s.) is that Nabi appoints any executor, faith should be bring on him. In this way justification of Allah or to know Allah as justice, recognition of Allah, and recognition of attribute of Allah come as under.

The famous Hadith of The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) is,

‘It is obligatory on male and female to be the students. Here obligatory knowledge means faith and recognition. Certainly every one try to obtain faith and knowledge according to his ability.”

Our Holy Quran says in Sura Baqarah in Ayat No. 286 that

لاَ يُكَلِّفُ اللّهُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا

“Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability.”

(Surah Baqarah 2:286)

That is why there are so many stages of faith and knowledge. Faith can be strong and as well as weak. It can be less and more. Many traditions of this topic have been arrived that there are many stages in this connection. Faith is according to the quantity of knowledge and which causes the health of heart and life. Faith is like a light and because of this light the curtain removes between Allah and His believer.

Our Holy Quran says in Sura Baqarah Ayat no. 257

اللّهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ يُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّوُر

“Allah is the guardian of those who believe. He brings them out of the darkness into the light.”

(Surah Baqarah 2:257)

In this way Allah says in Sura An’am in Ayat no. 123

أَوَ مَن كَانَ مَيْتًا فَأَحْيَيْنَاهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُ نُورًا يَمْشِي بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ كَمَن مَّثَلُهُ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍ مِّنْهَا كَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ

“Is he who was dead then We raised him to life and mad for him a light by which he walks among the people, like him whose likeness is that of one in utter darkness when he cannot come forth”?

(Surah An’am 6:123)

And Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) says that knowledge does not obtain from reading only but it is a light that Allah gives him in the heart of whom He wants to guide him certainly when Allah wants to guide and grants knowledge then a man learns and increases his knowledge.

Our Holy Quran states in Sura Anfal Ayat no. 2

وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا َ

“His communications are recited to them they increase them in faith.”

(Surah Anfal 8:2)

That is why it is commanded in Sura Taha in Ayat no. 114:

وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

“O my Lord! Increase me in knowledge.”

(Surah Taha 20:114)

As much as the curtain removes, the light of the faith increases. The faith becomes strong and powerful, up to that the heart is illuminating. Hence he gets inner light in his heart. He can understand all the facts with an open mind. An invisible affection and different materialistic and its facts come to light on him and he sees all the things according to tis facts. The light of his heart and spaciousness of heart gives all right details as Prophets showed before. Some particulars with details prove right and then desires rise up in his heart to act on Allah’s commands and he gets proficiency of good virtues because of knowledge of God.

Allah says in Surah Tahrim Ayat no. 8 and Surah Nur Ayat no. 35:???

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا عَسَى رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُكَفِّرَ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يَوْمَ لَا يُخْزِي اللَّهُ النَّبِيَّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ نُورُهُمْ يَسْعَى بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَانِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَاإِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكَاةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ الْمِصْبَاحُ فِي زُجَاجَةٍ الزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّيٌّ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ زَيْتُونِةٍ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِيءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌ نُّورٌعَلَى نُورٍ يَهْدِي اللَّهُ لِنُورِهِ مَن يَشَاء وَيَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

“Their light Shall run on before them and on their right hands,” light upon light.”

(Surah Tarim 66:8, Surah Nur 24:35)

The light of worship would be increase the light of knowledge of Allah and the light of knowledge would increase in the light of worship. (Apparently the proceeding light is that light of faith and the light of right side is the light of good acts.) The first stage of the faith is in the form of verification in which doubt is mixed up. There are so many stages in it. It is possible that faith is mixed up with hypocrisy.

Our Holy Quran says in Surah Yusuf Ayat no. 6 “And most of them do not believe in Allah without associating others (with Him).

This stage of faith is not called faith contrary it is called Islam.

Surah Hujarat Ayat 14 says:

قَالَتِ الْأَعْرَابُ آمَنَّا قُل لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَلَكِن قُولُوا أَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ الْإِيمَانُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ

“The dwellers of the desert say, We believe. Say, You don’t believe but say, we submit, and faith has not yet entered into your hearts.”

(Surah Hujarat 49:14)

Surah Hujarat says in Ayat 15:

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا

“The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Apostles then they doubt not”

(Surah Hujarat 49:15)

One more ayat in Surah Anfal Ayat no. 2 says:

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

“Those only are believers whose hearts become full of fear when Allah is mentioned and when His communications are recited to them they increase them in faith and in their Lord do they trust.”

(Surah Anfal 8:2)

And another ayat of Surah Maidah Ayat no. 54 says:

وَيُحِبُّونَهُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ يُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَلاَ يَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لآئِمٍ ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَاء

“He shall love them and they shall love Him, lowly before the believers, mighty against the unbelievers, they shall strive hard in Allah’s way and shall not fear the censure of any censurer, this is Allah’s grace. He gives it to whom He pleases.”

(Surah Maidah 5:54)

This high stage of the faith is called certainty faith.

Surah Baqarah Ayat no. 4 indicates that:

وَبِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ

“And they are sure of the hereafter.”

(Surah Baqarah 2:4)

The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) has stated in Usul al-Kafi,

“The real virtue is that you keep up worship just as you see. Him in front of you.”

This is the stage of certainty of faith. Our Holy Quran points out these three kinds of stages in one ayat “Surah Maidah Ayat no. 93 indicates.

لَيْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَا طَعِمُواْ إِذَا مَا اتَّقَواْ وَّآمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ ثُمَّ اتَّقَواْ وَّآمَنُواْ ثُمَّ اتَّقَواْ وَّأَحْسَنُواْ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِين

“On those who believe and do good there is no blame for what they did, when they are careful (of their duty) and believe and do good deeds, then they are careful (of their duty) and believe, then they are careful (of their duty) and do good (to others) and Allah loves those who do good (to others).

(Surah Maidah 5:93)

Allah says in Surah Maidah Ayat no. 137:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ ثُمَّ آمَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ ثُمَّ ازْدَادُواْ كُفْرًا لَّمْ يَكُنِ اللّهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلاَ لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ سَبِيلاً

“Surely (as for) those who believe then disbelieve, again believe and again disbelieve, then increase in disbelief, Allah will not forgive them not guide them in the (right) path.”

(Surah Maidah 5:137)

Belief is the highest stage than Islam. In this way the highest stage than belief is favour and certainty of faith. They have three stages Knowledge of faith, positive knowledge and certain truth. Allah says in Surah Takasur Ayat no 5 to 7.

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ

“Nay! If you had known with a certain knowledge. You should most certainly have seen the hell, Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty.”

(Surah Takasur 2:5-6-7)

Surah Waqiah Ayat no. 95 says:

إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ الْيَقِينِ

“Most surely this is a certain truth”

(Surah Waqiah 57:95)

Hazrat Amirul Mo-mineen says if curtains would remove then also there is no more capacity in my faith.

We can clarify the three stages of belief such as (1) knowledge of faith (seeing the smoke of fire a man ensures of fire) (2) Positive knowledge (a man be ensures by seeing with his own eyes) (3) Certain knowledge (a man can touch it and creates faith of its existence).

There are 3 stages of infidelity

There are 3 stages of infidelity like belief. The first stage is that if a man doubts on blame (on which are the foundation of faith) such as Allah, Rasul (s.a.w.s.), Angels, The Holy Quran and the Hereafter. Our Holy Quran states about such people in Sura Tauba Ayat no. 45.

إِنَّمَا يَسْتَأْذِنُكَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَارْتَابَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِي رَيْبِهِمْ يَتَرَدَّدُونَ

“Their hearts are in doubt, so in their doubt do they waver.”

(Surah Tauba 9:45)

The second stage of infidelity is that a man remains in doubt of these five fundamental rights. On the contrary he denied without verifying about whether it is right or wrong, Allah says in Surah Nahl ayat no. 22 that

إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَالَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةٌ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ

“So (as for) those who donot in the hereafter. Their hearts are ignorant and they are proud.”

(Surah Nahl 16:22)

The third stage of infidelity hatred the truth besides having doubt and refusal from the truth and tries to destroy the truth Allah says in Surah Mujadilah Ayat no. 5.

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحَادُّونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ كُبِتُوا كَمَا كُبِتَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَا آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ

“Surely those who act in opposition to Allah and His Apostle shall be laid down prostrate, and indeed We have revealed clear communications and the unbelievers shall have an abasing chastisement.”

(Surah Mujadilah 58:5)

As just as a man becomes the righteous person of the different stages of the heaven. In the way the stages of infidelity would be the same. As this stage of chastisement and the category of the hell would be same. In the three stages of infidelity, if hidden infidelity manifests, he is an infidel. If a man would be Muslim apparently and an infidel from inside, he is called infidel. In this way there are three stages of hypocrisy 1) if they show their faith outwardly but have doubt about the truth. 2) If manifests his faith, have doubt and without research the truth and deny about the truth in the heart (3) Apparently assert friendship with the truth but keep enmity in the heart. His abode will be in the lowest stage in the hell with painful chastisement.

Allah says in Surah Nisa in Ayat no. 145:

إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِي الدَّرْكِ الأَسْفَلِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمْ نَصِيرًا

“Surely the hypocrites are in the lowest stage of the fire.”

(Surah Nisa 4:145)

A condition of a true believer

Ishaq Bin Ammar says that he had heard this tradition from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.). Once Hazrat Rasul-lal-lah (s.a.w.s.) saw a man in the mosque who was sleeping hanging his head down. He looked so pale and his eyes looked hollow. So Hazrat (s.a.w.s.) called by his name and asked, how have you started the morning? He said Ya Rasul-lal-lah (s.a.w.s.)! I have started my morning with confidence. Hazrat (s.a.w.s.) said every confidence has a fact. What is the fact of your confidence? He said Y Rasul-lal-lah (s.a.w.s.)! My confidence has made me very sad. I have spent the sleepless night and this my hot day (because of fasting) will pass by tolerating thirst. I am very tired with my soul and this world and has bear turned the face from all these. Up to that, that I see Allah’s empyrean is ready to check an account All are gathered and I am also among them. I see heavenly people who are absorbed in divine blessings and introducing with each other and are sitting on the throne and as if I see the people in the hell and are getting severe punishment and crying and as if see the flames of fire of the hell at this time and listening their cries.

Then The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) asked his companion. He is the man whose heart is enlightened with divine light by Allah then Hazrat (s.a.w.s.) asked him to stay in this condition as you are. That young man said Ya Rasul-lal-lah (s.a.w.s.) pray for me, as I am in your devoted servant and bear witness of Islamic law. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) prayed for him. And after a few days he went for a religious war and he martyred in the war.

Both, Obligatory and Desirable

In the portion of Belief and infidelity’ there is a chapter regarding given a derogatory remark to give torment to Muslims.

The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said – he asked Allah on the night of Me’raj, what is the status of a true believer in your sight? Allah said let whoever be my believer, we should search by such deeds that I like most, means whatever I made obligatory, should perform it. Certainly I like at least, (besides performing the obligatory) he should search my nearness through desirable works. When I like all his work, I become ears of him that he can hear with it, I become his eyes that can see with it. I become his tongue that he can speak with it. I become his hand, that he can bring all the things in his power through it. I he calls me, I answer him and if he asks something from Me, I grant him.

Apostasy of Sufis

Allamah Majlisi begins his hadith, writes that according to Shaikh Bahai that this hadith is correct. This Hadith is famous in Shias and Sunni with some minor differences. Some sentences of this hadith like that (I become his ears that he can hear with it) other Sufees and transmigrate and the devotees of allied powers take it in wrong sense. They led astray and make others misled. The wrong belief of transmigration is that (God forbid) Allah can accumulate in any thing and can transmigrate anything in Him (God forbid) In this way unification is is also a wrong belief means (God forbid) Allah unites with other things and allied with them, then (God forbid) there is no difference between Allah and things and (God forbid) every thing became God.

Allamah Majlisi says that the reasonable meanings of these expressions are available. These all are the uses of metaphorical language and these uses are common in Hadith and the Holy Quran and these are not against the faith of the true believers. Then he produced the details of the sayings of religious preceptors and his opinions. Here we narrate the narration of Shaikh bhai briefly.

“Those who have learnt a lesson”

Shaikh bhai says this high-ranking talk and hidden secrecy are the suggestion for the generous people. In such points, people think it artistic taste and its fragrance wins their heart and makes his worn out bones strong. On who adopts this why who has perform mystic exercise and devoted his life for the religious war. This kind of a man is achieved the mystic knowledge and under stands its meaning. That who do not understand these points and do not obtain the mystic knowledge from this treasure, his work is to become happy, having low ideas for the bodily pleasures. Such person is in the trial. Generally when he listens such talks, he runs a risk and generally falls down in the pit of transmigration and unification. Allah is exalted and supreme from this matter.

We are taling in such way that can be understood easily.

Fondness of Allah’s proximity

Such sentences are for showing the perfection of Allah’s proximity. These words express the sway of love of person’s inside and outsides and his hidden and apparent but Allah knows better. It is this that what we understand – I love my believers. I grant him My fellowship. He becomes friendly with Me. I keep him in the condition of sanctity. His desires and anxiety remains fully attentive in invisible world I take his all responsibility in My possession. As if I become his ear, means whatever he sees, he sees for Me only. There are many traditions available regarding the stages of belief and faith and their excellency. If anyone wants to know, can refer the book Usul al-Kafi’s chapter of Belief and Infidelity. Our intention is to remind him that belief should be of any stage and limit a true believer should not stop. On the contrary he should try to obtain all the honour of all three stages of belief.

Big symptoms of confidence

If Allah’s favour and grace on any one He grants him the light of confidence in his heart and this light spreads in his heart and all defects and evilness remove from his heart and he obtains good attributes instead of evilness.

Our Holy Quran says in Surah Furqan Ayat 70 “So these are they of whom Allah changes the evils deeds to good ones:”

Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) has stated in (Safinat-ul-Behar Vol. 2 pg 534)

Belief makes him to reach on high stage. The dignity and grandeur of belief has being stated by The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.). When he was asked that Hazrat Isa Ibne Mariyam (a.s.) was walking on the water so Hazrat (s.a.w.s.) said if his belief would have more increased, he would walk on the sky. According to this book’s words the tradition of Imam Ali Reza (a.s.) has been copied out that Imam (a.s.) has stated that symptoms of belief, confidence, Allah’s will and the results of his deeds surrenders to Allah.

Hazrat Amirul Mo-mineen (a.s.) said in lack of expectation, sincerity of deeds and through myticism and fear of God shows the presence of his belief (From book of Garar and Hukm Az Lamedi)

He also states that patience and mysticism and sincerity and permission are the fruit of belief. A pure true of belief when grows in the heart its fruits are sweet and of good quality.

“Belief is the state of peace and doubt is perplexity.”

The tradition of Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) is present in Usul al-Kafi.

“Allah the Exalted has been kept the happiness and rest in the belief and this permission through His justification and has settled the sorrow and separation in the doubt and sadness.

One who is a true believer, he feels rest and comforts heartify and surrender the result of all deeds to Allah. He says it was my duty to do my work and I did it. Now it is Allah’s will whether He helps me or not through this work. Allah is Knower of every thing. If the result comes out against his will, he does not become sad and never says it would be if it were so. And this kind of a man never becomes proud if he gets the result according to his will, on the contrary he gives thanks to Allah.

Allah says in Surah Hadid in Ayat no. 22/23

مَا أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي أَنفُسِكُمْ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مِّن قَبْلِ أَن نَّبْرَأَهَا إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ

“No evil befalls on the earth nor in your own souls, but it is in a book before We bring it into existence, surely that is easy to Allah.”

(Surah Hadid 57:22)

لِكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا عَلَى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا بِمَا آتَاكُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ

“So that you may not grieve for what has escaped you, nor be exultant at what He has given you, and Allah does not love any arrogant boaster.”

(Surah Hadid 57:23)

Everything is of Allah

We come to know from this exalted verse of the Holy Quran that a true believer does not get every thing according to his will. If any thing escaped from his hand he does not became sad. And if he gets any thing he never becomes proud of it. He considers him self as a servant of Allah. He thinks every thing whatever he has is all belong to Allah.

True believers always remain satisfied in all conditions

True believers never involves in fear, unpleasant circumstances and severe calamities. They never feel alone. They think, their all works are consistent from Allah. Instead of being perplexed they are devoted to Allah with satisfaction tranquillity and prestige. They try to do according to Allah’s commands but they leave on Allah the result of their efforts that let Allah do whatever He likes. They know very well that no work is performed without Allah will or His permission. If Allah takes a trail of His man then He wisheds his goodness for him. Hence whether he suffers from disease or good health, if would be prestige or disgrace riches or poverty, honoured or dishonoured, people appreciate him or not whether life or death, all conditions are similar for the true believer of Allah. He knows what ever will be, will be best for him. Really hearty Satisfaction obtains to the true believers in the world and in the hereafter.

Allah says in Surah Anam Ayat no. 83

وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَا آتَيْنَاهَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَاتٍ مَّن نَّشَاء إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ

“Those are they who shall have the security and they are those who go aright.”

(Surah Anam 6:83)

Allah says in Surah Fath Ayat no. 4

هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَّعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

“He it is who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers that they might have more faith added to their faith.”

(Surah Fath 48:4)

Satisfaction, tranquillity, peace and surety are the symptoms of belief. And opposite of these are fear, loneliness, sorrow are the result of doubt.

Only from fear of Allah and expectation

A Believer of Allah does not expect from anyone. He does not afraid of any creature He fears of his sins because fear of Allah. He hopes from Allah for forgiveness. The centre of fear and expectation is Allah and His excellency for him. If he moves far away from the wild animals or enemies, not to fear of them He goes away far from them because Allah has ordered for his defence. If he expects from any one, then Allah has ordered to take support from each other regarding the work. As a fact his expectation is from Allah only that Allah will accomplish his work with others help. Allah says in Surah Alay Imran Ayat no 172 and 173.????

الَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُواْ لِلّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْقَرْحُ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُواْ مِنْهُمْ وَاتَّقَواْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُواْ لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَاناً وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

“Those to whom the people said: Surely men have gathered against you, therefore fear them, but this increased their faith, and they said: Allah is sufficient for us and most excellent is the Protector.” “So they returned with favour from Allah and (His) grace, no evil touched them and they followed the pleasure of Allah and Allah is the Lord of mighty grace.

(Surah Alay Imran 3:1725-173)

Importance of deeds is on the foundation of belief

Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) has stated in (Usul al-Kafi, Chapter Fazila-te-Yaqeen, Hadith no. 3) that continuously with the faith but small deed is much better than the big one which is without confidence.

And Amirul Mo-mineen Hazrat Ali (a.s.) has said in (Usul al-Kafi Hadith no. 7).???

A man does not get pleasure as long as he wouldnot obtain knowledge and faith. Because whatever he has got was not escape from him and whatever he has lose was not going to available to him. And put him on trial is Allah the Almighty. It is manifests that when a person’s dignity is of Allah’s property, then his strength is also granted by Allah.

To sleep confidently in the state of belief is better

(From Nahjul Balagah) Hazrat Ali (a.s.) says that he heard from one of the disenter from Hazrat Ali (a.s.) (of Neherwan) that he is praying Namaz-e-Shab and the Holy Quran. Hazrat Ali (a.s.) said – To sleep confidently is better than to pray namaz in the suspicious condition. An excellency of the faith is very much that religious persons as well as Prophets asked Allah for the enhancement in faith. Faith, knowledge and belief are the name of one thing and the large portion of verses and traditions are present about its excellency
