Surah قريش Surah ماعون Surah كوثر

الكافرون

لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ ١ إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ ٢ فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ ٣ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ ٤

أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ ١ فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ ٢ وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ ٣ فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ ٤ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ٥ الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ ٦ وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ ٧

إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ ١ فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ ٢ إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ ٣

SINCE THE QURAISH have been united, (1) United to fit out caravans winter and summer, (2) Let them worship the Lord of this House, (3) Who provided them against destitution and gave them security against fear. (4) HAVE YOU SEEN him who denies the Day of Judgement? (1) It is he who pushes the orphan away, (2) And does not induce others to feed the needy. (3) Woe to those who pray (4) But who are oblivious of their moral duties, (5) Who dissimulate (6) And withhold things of common use (from others). (7) HAVE SURELY given you pre-eminence (in numbers and following); (1) So serve your Lord with full dedication and sacrifice. (2) It is surely your opponents whose line will come to end. (3)
