The Cordoba Islamic TV and Radio Station will be launched by Saudi Arabia and will broadcast programs via satellite to different parts of the world.
According to Sheikh Abdul-Azeez al-Fawzan, director of Resala al-Islam website, which is a Spanish website based in Saudi Arabia, while there are over 200 million speakers of Spanish in Europe, Latin America and Africa, there have been no Islamic satellite TVs for them in Spanish.
He said that Cordoba Islamic TV and Radio Station will be based in Spain.
It will broadcast programs featuring Islamic tenets, Quranic teachings, sermons by prominent Muslim scholars and Quran recitations by renowned reciters of the Islamic world.
