Founder of 1st Seminary for Women Passes away

-- Founder of the first seminary for women in Iran passed away this morning in the holy city of Mashhad.

Fatemeh Seyed Khamushi died of a heart problem. She was the founder and director of Narjes Islamic Seminary School, the first seminary for women in the country.

She made a lot of efforts in her lifetime to promote the Islamic culture and teachings in society. She also strived in different religious, cultural, social and political arenas to further the cause of the Islamic revolution.

The funeral of the late Fatemeh Seyed Khamushi will be held Wednesday in Mashhad with the presence of religious and cultural figures.
