Iranians in Moscow Celebrate Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) Birth

-- Iranians residing in Russia celebrated the birth of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Imam Jafar Sadeq (AS) on Thursday, March 4.

The celebration ceremony was held at Khatam-ol-Anbia Mosque in the Russian capital of Moscow. It was organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in the country.

The function began by recitation of Doa (supplication) Komeyl and then Hojat-ol-Islam Hadavi Moghaddam delivered a speech featuring the life and character of the last prophet of God.

He stressed that Muslims must apply the teachings of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in all aspects of their everyday lives.

Moludikhani (singing eulogy songs featuring the auspicious occasion) was among other programs at the ceremony.

Also, the Iranian Cultural Center held a book reading contest for Iranian students and the winners were awarded at the end of the ceremony.
