Quran City" Planned in Iraq

According to a report by the center, the decision was made in a meeting of members of the council with officials of the Darul Quran al-Karim Center.

During the meeting, the two sides emphasized on expanding cooperation in intellectual and cultural fields and development of Quranic sciences.

Establishing a Quran city in Basra province was among the issues agreed upon in the meeting. The Quran city will include a kindergarten, a Quran school, and a university specializing in Quran memorization and instruction of Quranic sciences.”

Moin Saleh, who is Basra governor's administrative deputy, said in this regard: “ During our trip to the holy city of Karbala, we visited different sections of the Astan-e Imam Hussein (AS) and learned about their activities.

Abdul Karim al-Rumi, art deputy of Basra governor, emphasized the important role of the Darul Quran al-Karim Center of Astan-e Imam Hussein (AS) in educating of Quranic sciences and teachings.
