Iranian Cultural Attaché in Tanzania said a Quranic Week program would be organized in the country during the third week of the holy month of Ramadan.
Morteza Saburi said the program includes Quran competitions in the categories of recitation and memorization.
There will also be Quran recitation sessions with the presence of Iranian reciters. “The session will be held at the Iranian Cultural Center as well as some mosques such as Al-Ghadir Mosque.”
He went on to say that holding Quranic competitions in Kheyr Radio and Quran Radio, organizing Iftar (fast breaking) ceremonies, and publishing the speeches of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader about the Holy Quran and Ramadan in Tanzanian press are among other programs of the Iranian Cultural Center during the holy month.
