Muslims follow lunar calendar. Muslim Ramadan is the ninth month of Islamic calendar. It is the month when Muslims Fast during the daytime. Muslims have meal twice a day, one before the sunrise called Suhoor and one after the sunset called Iftar. During Ramadan Muslims spend their maximum time to worship Allah. They recite number of prayers in a day, visit mosque. Muslims believe that the gates of Heaven (jannah) are open and the gates of hell (Jahanam) during the month of Ramadan. Ramadan is believed to be the month during which The Holy book of Muslims (Quran) was revealed, providing guidance for the people, clear teachings, and the statute book.
