“Islam and Family Rights”

A forum on “Islam and family rights” will be held with the presence of Mohammad Husseyn Abedini, Iran cultural attaché in Kyrgyzstan. 

 The scientific forum was planned at a meeting of the Iranian official with president of Islamic University of Kyrgyzstan on October 8. 

 Speaking at the meeting, Abedini referred to the activities of Iran Cultural Center in Kyrgyzstan and said: “The center started its activities two years ago in Bishkek cooperating with many cultural, scientific and religious centers of the country.” 

 He expressed hope that the cooperation would be developed in coming year. 

 The Iranian official further added that a special radio station featuring the Quran would be launched in Kyrgyzstan in the near future under the supervision of Mufti of the country. 

 Abdul Shakur Narmatov, the president of the Islamic University appreciated the attention paid by the Iranian center to Muslims affairs in Kyrgyzstan and expressed willingness to expand ties with the Iranian side.
