The two nations of Iran and Egypt love Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and this is one of the major common points between the two peoples.
This is according to Ameneh Mohammad Nassir, Egyptian Quran researcher and lecturer at Cairo’s Al-Azhar University.
She said since the time of the Fatimid dynasty, Egyptians have revered the dear Household of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
She said that the two nations also have a lot in common in terms of striving for development, adding that if the right person assumes leadership in Egypt, the great nation of Egypt will take great strides towards development.
She praised Iran’s Supreme Leader for leading the Iranian nation toward solidarity and unity, regretting that the Egyptian nation does not have a leader capable of uniting the people and moving the country forward.
