The commemoration titled ‘Crimson Return’ will be held to honor the remembrance of Iranian martyr Tondgouyan, one of the commanders of the Sacred Defense Era. The commemoration will be held at the same time of Imam Sajad (AS) martyrdom anniversary. The event will be held on Wednesday December 21, 2011 at Sureh Mehr hall from 14:30 to 17:00.
Fariborz Khoob Nezhad, the deputy of cultural institute of Payam Azadegan in an interview regarding holding a commemoration for martyr Tondgouyan declared: “This year is the first year that we want to hold a commemoration for martyr Tondgouyan by the title ‘Crimson Return. So we hope that this commemoration to be in all the future years so magnificently by cooperation of Payam Azadegan Institute.”
“The reason that much information have not been announced regarding this commemoration is that each year a mourning ceremony would be held in the Oil Ministry for this respectful martyr, but this program did not have media reflex for a while, so it was not good that this martyr to stay in an ambiguity situation. In fact forgetting martyr Tondgouyan is a treachery to the ambitions of the Islamic Revolution," he added.
Khoob Nezhad in addition of honoring the position of the martyrs of Oil Industry and he stipulated: “Since martyr Tondgouyan is the most lonely martyr among the war captives and the Payam Azadegan Institute is an institute which works for the prisoners of war, so we thought that is it really necessary to prepare ourselves to hold this commemoration; But since the Oil Ministry would hold this commemoration every year, we decided to cooperate with the Oil Industry and to hold a magnificent commemoration for martyr Tondgouyan. In fact we became serious to hold an exclusive and high quality program for martyr Tondgouyan.”
This cultural activist and Iran-Iraq prisoner of war said: “The commemoration titled ‘Crimson Return’ will be held to honor the remembrance of martyr Tondgouyan, one of the commanders of the Sacred Defense Era. The commemoration will be held at the same time of Imam Sajad (AS) martyrdom anniversary. The event will be held on Wednesday December 21, 2011 at Sureh Mehr hall from 14:30 to 17:00. So hereby we invite all the prisoners of war, the family of martyr Tondgouyan and other war veterans to attend the commemoration of martyr Tondgouyan.”
