Magnificence of Imam Hussein’s (AS) status and the importance of mourning on his martyrdom have been discussed at a program at Ma’sumiyah Mosque in Jalalpur region in Uttar Pradesh State of India.
The program has been held from yesterday, January 29 and will be underway until January 4.
It began with Quran recitation by Zeygham Abbas Bageri, eminent Qari of the region and continued with a speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Sa’eed Hassan Rezay, a seminarian educated at Al-Mustafa International University.
He talked about Imam Hussein (AS) and the magnificent of his status and the importance of holding mourning programs on his martyrdom. Mourning rituals were performed at the end of the program.
The organizers have invited all Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) devotees to participate at the five-day program.
