(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - His Emminence, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H), has announced that, the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has set aside 13, 14 and 15 of Jimada Ula as the period of mourning for the martyrdom of Sayyida Zahra (AS), daughter of the Holy Prophet (S).

He made the announcement at the end of the weekly Tafsir which took place at Hussainiyyah Baqiyatullah, Zaria on Wednesday. He said, Wednesday was 4th of Jimada Ula, if the month had ended in 30 days, but that since no news of citing of a new crescent was reported on Friday, Wednesday was therefore assumed 4th of Jimada Ula, pending further reports. Sheikh Zakzaky also announced that the three - day mourning will fall on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. According to him, the occasion could not hold last year due to unforeseen reasons.

The Leader ,who hinted the likely hood of him being absent in some days or all of the event because of a planned trip, however urged people not to be impatient in knowing whether he has traveled and when he is supposed to return, "People should just attend, moreover we have the Movement's websites, not Facebook personal pages, where all news and announcements are made that one can easily access rather than asking.
