Director of "Islamic Mission of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS)" Foundation in Ukraine announced that a Quranic-religious radio will be launched in the country.
According to the information website of Alawi holy shrine, he made the announcement while introducing the plans and activities of the foundation during a meeting with the custodians of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS).
A number of representatives of the foundation in Donetsk city paid a pilgrimage to the holy shrine in Najaf, Iraq, and got acquainted with activities of the Religious Affairs Section of the holy shrine and various projects conducted by the section such as the construction of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) courtyard.
The Ukrainian delegation comprised the director of the foundation, head of the public relations office of the foundation and Seyyedah Fatimah, a Ukrainian woman who recently embraced Islam.
In the meeting, Ilaf al-Sa'edi, director of the foundation, introduced the cultural and educational programs of the foundation and highlighted its Quranic activities.
He noted that the foundation is open to the followers of all religions and its objective is to develop Islam in the region through disseminating Ahl-ul-Bayt's (AS) teachings and inviting to Islamic unity.
Other activities of the foundation include educational courses on Arabic language and training courses for children.
The foundation has opened a library providing religious and Islamic resources in Arabic, Russia, English and Turkish languages.
He further noted that the foundation plans to launch a Quranic radio which will broadcast Quranic-religious speeches and programs on translation and interpretation of the Holy Quran in the Russian language.
In this meeting, the Ukrainian new Muslim stressed the influence of Ahl-ul-Bayt's (AS) teachings on her conversion to Islam.
