-- The closing ceremony of an instructional course on interpretation of Quranic verses on Hajj was held yesterday, November 16, with the presence of “Majid bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktum” head of the Association of Culture and Art in Dubai.
According to WAM news agency, the course was held by the Office of Islamic Affairs and Charity of Dubai from November 4 to 15.
Mohammad Soheil Al-Muhairi, director of Guidance Section of the office said, “The course was aimed at eliminating problems faced by pilgrims, clarifying Hajj rituals, applying advanced scientific methods for solving the problems of hajjis and meeting the cultural and religious needs of the pilgrims.”

According to Adel Al-Marzughi, head of the department, “the course included sessions of interpretation of Quranic verses directed by Abdullah Al-Kamali, who is in charge of Maktum Quran memorization centers of the UAE.”
“Using small replicas as part of the course, the instructors tried to introduce holy places of Mecca and Medina to Hajj pilgrims,” he added.
“They also taught materials on virtues of Hajj, first 10 days of Dhul Hajjah and Eid Al-Adha as well as other Hajj rituals.”
