The primary cause of stinking feet is sweat. There are more than 250,000 sweat glands in each of our feet. On a hot day, a foot can release more than a pint of sweat! Sweat is little more than salty water and doesn’t have a characteristic smell of its own

From the beginning, we should understand that feeling tired, being lethargic and having low energy are not necessarily different words describing the same condition. We might have normal energy levels when we start our day and come home tired, but this is usually because of physical work or a long day on the job. Sure, we have lower energy levels at the end of the day, but this is nothing to be concerned about.

If a person is truly lethargic he or she may not be eating well, may not sleep well or may sleep too much. This same individual might be suffering from clinical depression or other mental state that contributes to lethargy. This is not the same as being tired because of work or exercise. It's not always the same as having low energy.

So, what is it?

Low energy means you feel as if you don't have the motivation to get up and do something. Even if your family or friends are asking you to take part in the simplest activity, you respond by saying you don't have the energy.

Fortunately, there are ways to deal with this. You can get a temporary boost from caffeinated drinks like coffee or tea. This may charge you up enough to get you through a few hours of activity. Sugar is a temporary remedy that is usually followed by a "crash" in which you feel you have no energy - again!

This is, however, a temporary fix. You might even find that fruit juices and some solid food will recharge your "batteries," allowing you to get involved in something with friends or family, or just take care of a few tasks around the house. In addition to these food and drink fixes, you can change the atmosphere with some moving music, something upbeat and positive.

Exercise, Exercise

If you are normally healthy, eat well and stay active you may still have a few periods of time during which you feel as if you have no energy. Contrary to popular opinion, going out for a brisk walk or taking part in a few minutes of exercise will actually boost your energy level. Oh, you may feel tired right after the walk or exercise but you will feel "better" and feel more like doing something - anything.

In some cases, gathering energy won't involve physical activity. You may just need the stimulation of a conversation.

Visit with a close friend or family member. Meet them at the local coffee shop. The simple act of going somewhere and doing something will make you feel as if you have enough energy to continue through the day.

You can get rid of low energy with any number of tricks and tips. Use some of these simple methods for picking yourself up and getting yourself back in the race. Don't confuse being tired with lacking energy, though. If you are tired, rest!
