In the capital, Berlin, Germans called upon Riyadh to immediately release Sheikh Nimr and drop all illegal charges brought against him as they carried large portraits of the Shia Saudi cleric.
The German demonstrators also condemned the systematic and widespread violations of human rights in Saudi Arabia.
