The head of the museum of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Mr. Ala Ahmed stated that in 1909, a French writer wrote in a French newspaper called L,Illustratio, about the Husseinian rites held annually in Ashura month.
The piece of news which was written in 1909 and provided with photos show the practice of the Husseinian rites has just been presented to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine by a French news agency.
He also said that some other important documents will be presented to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine soon, and invited those who have anything related or mentions or reminds of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) or the holy shrine to offer it to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
It’s worth mentioning that the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine received a very precious piece of cloth taken from the curtain of Ka’ba, presented by one of the followers of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).
Amer Al Hannoon, from Baaghdad, returned brassware, engraved with some verses of the Noble Quran, names of Ahlul-Bayte (Peace Be Upon Them), and two hands representing the cut-off hands of El-Abbas (Peace Be Upon Him), to the museum of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
