Thousands of Yemeni people once again took to the streets in the capital, Sana'a, to voice their anger against the United Nations' silence on the Saudi regime's heinous crimes in the Arabian Peninsula country.

During the massive demonstration held on Sunday evening, the protesters condemned the UN and other international bodies that call themselves advocates of human rights for their inaction on the humanitarian disaster in Yemen.

In a statement issued at the end of the rally, the demonstrators called on the UN to make independent decisions free from the domination of the US and Israel.

The Yemenis further urged the international community to take immediate action to help end the siege laid by Saudi Arabia, which has prevented the delivery of humanitarian aid to the war-hit people of the Arab country, the statement added.

On March 26, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies began to launch deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

According to a civil coalition monitoring Saudi Arabia's crimes, over 3050 people, including 722 children and 532 women, have been killed during more than 100 days of Saudi-led military strikes on the Arab country.

More than 8,000 others have been also injured in the attacks, including 581 women and 766 children.

The Saudi-led aerial strikes have targeted 61 hospitals and 13 ambulances.
