Mamouri said in a statement that “Abu Marwan al-Mosuli, who was also known as ISIS Intelligence Official in al-Sharqat District was killed in the explosion of an improvised explosive device that was emplaced under his vehicle in the center of the district, along with two of his companions, including his own brother.”
Mamouri added, “The perpetrators of the operation are still unknown.”
