The renowned Iranian cleric of highlighted the prime importance of taking the cognizance of code of ethics.

Grand Ayatollah Ja’far Sobhani underscored the prime importance of ethical behaviour and code of ethics in the society stressing, “Ethical behaviour is highly important.”

“Given that, it is incumbent upon us to build our behaviour based on as such principles, because the Holy Prophet Muhammad had also emphasized ethical behaviour,” His Eminence said, urging Muslims to abide by moral and ethical codes.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the renowned cleric lectured those turning a blind eye to inhumane orders and principles demanding them to follow God Almighty’s commands.

According to Ayatollah Sobhani, ignoring Islamic rules would lead to the decay of moral values in society, laying the way for enemies to advance their objectives against Muslim nations.

He went on to highlight, “We should make it a practice to make it a practice to form our behaviour based on religious principles and Quranic teachings, since the Prophet Muhammad had also emphasized on ethical behaviour.”

Referring to the benefits of following an austere way of life, Ayatollah Sobhani urged Muslims to refrain from self-indulgence and a luxurious lifestyle.
