At least 120 civilians were killed or injured on Tuesday in an airstrike carried out by Saudi-led coalition aircraft on a crowded popular market north of Yemen's capital Sanaa, medics and a local source said.
"More than 60 civilians were killed and other 60 wounded when the Saudi-led fighter jets launched two airstrikes on Al-Khamees market in Mastaba district in Hajja province," a medic said.
"The airstrikes took place during the rush hour afternoon while people were crowding in the public market," he said, adding that hospitals in Mastaba and Abs districts don't have enough medicine to treat the injured.
