Panegyrists on Prophet Muhammad’s Household have met with leader of Revolution on the occasion of birthday anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA).
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei received this morning a number of panegyrists of Prophet Muhammad’s Household from across the country, where he pointed to application of lessons from lives of Prophet’s Household in today lives.
Ayatollah Khamenei congratulated the birthday anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA) and dubbed panegyrism of Prophet’s Household an honor belonging to the Shia community and encouraged the academicians to delve into scientific methods to spread it.
He emphasized that the true dimensions of Hazrat Zahra’s personality was impossible to be described and yet asserted that panegyrists must take advantage of her characteristics as much as possible.
The Leader underlined necessity of bringing issue of today world and life into poems and eulogies they recite in ceremonies and processions; “the Arrogance system spares no efforts to damage the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation and takes advantage of political, economic, cultural and military bullying powers;” said he and continued that “in the complicated world of today and tomorrow, all political, economic, social and defensive means must be used to improve status of Iran.”
He stressed that enemies were using all means including ‘negotiations, economic exchanges, sanctions, military threats, and any other means’ and that the country must also strengthen itself to confront and defend itself in all areas.
Ayatollah Khamenei dubbed the military power as main standing point of the Arrogance against the Iranian nation and rhetorically asked “in this jungle-like situation of the world, if the Islamic Republic wants only negotiations and business trade and even science and technology, but it has no defensive power, won’t even tiny countries dare to threaten Iran?”
The Leader strongly criticized those inside the country who say the world of today is world of negotiations and not missiles; “today, is era of everything; otherwise they easily and clearly violate rights of the nation. If this is said unwarily it is unawareness; but if it is said by awareness, it is betrayal.”
He described displaying of accurate and advanced missile of IRGC as pleasant to nations who are angry with the United States and the Zionist regime. “Enemies are constantly improving their military and missile might; so how can one talk about end of missile era?” Ayatollah Khamenei stated and drew an analogy between such remarks and those made in early days of 1979 Islamic Revolution by Interim Government officials who wanted to return F-14 fighters bought from the United States and said they were useless.
“At that time we insisted and revealed and when Saddam attacked Iran after a while, it became clear how much we needed those defensive means,” Leader said.
Ayatollah Khamenei also reaffirmed his agreement with using means of diplomacy and political talks; “they should not propagate in way as if we are against talks; we say negotiation must be done warily and powerfully to avoid being deceived. That we negotiate and agree on papers and sanctions remain in place and no trade happens, it means something has been wrong. I’ not against political negotiations in global issues, but not with everyone.”
The Leader also touched upon the issue of Resistance Economy and highlighted that paying lip service is enough and it is time for ‘actions and implementation.’
Ayat. Khamenei also hailed the panegyrists for reciting poems and eulogies in memory of defenders of holy shrines fighting against terrorists in Syria and Iraq as a ‘valuable’ move, but asserted that there was a more important thing to do which is ‘strengthening the beliefs among the youths;’ “enemy is working against belief in Islam, belief in efficiency of Islamic Establishment and belief in possibility of durability of the Islamic Establishment; of course it has been as such through last 37 years since the Revolution. However, the tiny sapling of the Islamic Revolution is now robust and immense which proves progress, improvement and power is in nature of the Islamic Establishment and it is improving increasingly.”
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the future of the country as bright and promising and encouraged the panegyrists to benefit from rich, inspiring poems and artistic performance to move their audience towards hope, effort and efficiency and concluded that they should consider guiding people toward insightfulness and awakening as their main duty.
