--The annual meeting of researchers and investigators of Hajj was held on November 28 by Hajj Research Center of Umm Al-Qura University in Mena region.
According to Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper, the meeting was attended by Valid bin Hussein Abul Faraj, president of the university, Samer bin Hamdan Al-Harbi, head of the research center and a number of Hajj researchers and scholars.
Representatives of the healthcare department, media, environment, engineering, information and public services of the research center presented 22 research papers on the conditions of Hajj rituals and providing services to hajj pilgrims in the grand Mosque in holy city of Mecca as well as other holy places.
Regarding the objective of the center, Al-Harbi said, "by holding such meetings, we seek to develop and promote the quality of services provided during Hajj season to pilgrims."
