“All Islamic teachings are demonstrated by strong intellectual reasoning. It’s impossible for a human being to believe in something unless he or she bears logical reasons to support it,” Ayatollah Sobhani said.
Senior Shia cleric in Qom said, “Islam favors Muslims to be aware and conscious of their beliefs as well as actions,”
Adding that Islam consists of a wide range of rulings and teachings he said, “Teachings are linked to religious beliefs and principles including belief in the absolute unity of God, Justice, Prophethood, Imamate and Judgment Day. Islamic rulings also consist of all the actions that humans perform in their lifetimes; such issues have been thoroughly discussed in Rulings of Imitation,”
Answering an inquiry on whether Humankinds have the right to question the philosophy of Islamic rulings, Ayatollah Sobhani responded, “The answer is Yes, All Islamic teachings benefit from strong intellectual and narrative reasoning, furthermore it’s impossible for a human being to believe in something unless he or she bears logical reasons to support it,”
Highlighting that a biased person lacks holding logical proof for his or her own beliefs, the source of emulation went on, “A pious one who really believes in something, will do so by gathering firm evidence and reasoning to reinforce his or her beliefs,”
Grand Ayatollah Sobhani then pointed at the fact that Quran demonstrates Islamic teachings accompanied by strong evidence and proofs, added,” Regarding the topic of Monotheism Quran says, “If the universe was ruled by two Gods then it would be impossible for them to administer its affairs since there could have been corruption and deviation happening between them,”
“Likewise, Since it’s been mentioned in Quran that prophets must be appointed by God to guide the humankind, it does so by stating reasons and enough arguments to support it,” he added.
