Iranian blockbuster ‘Muhammad (PBUH), the Messenger of God’, made by acclaimed director Majid Majidi, will be screened in the 34th Fajr International Film Festival later this month.
The film that has become the biggest box-office hit in Iranian film history, has been already screened in North America and Europe.
The film, which is the first part of a trilogy on the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is going to be shown in the international Fajr festival, due to be held from April 20-25 in Tehran.
A number of internationally-acclaimed professionals, including Academy Award winning visual effects supervisor and filmmaker Scott E. Anderson, three-time Oscar-winning Italian director of photography Vittorio Storaro and renowned Croat production designer Milijen Kreka Kljakovic collaborated in making the film.
Academy Award-winning Indian music composer Allah-Rakha Rahman has written music for the movie.
