Pakistani Shia leader: I will defend rights of Shiite Muslims till my last breath

Asgharia Organization Pakistan pledge support to Chief of Majlis Wahdat ul Muslimeen (largest Shia political-religious party in Pak.), Allama Nasir Abbas, his Hunger Strike and its cause.

As per details received, Fazl Abbas led a delegation of high officials from Asgharia Organization Pakistan (AOP) to Majlis Wahdat ul Muslimeen (MWM) Chief’s Hunger strike near press club Islamabad. He affirmed Allama Nasir his firm allegiance and support.

While addressing media, he emphasized that they appreciated Allama Nasir’s efforts, Government needs to accept his demands as they are in the interest of the Shia nation than a particular organization.

Other notables from MWM were also present during the meeting, namely; Deputy Secretary General Allama Syed Hasan Zafar Naqvi, Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi, Allama Iqbal Bahishti, etc.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas welcomed AOP officials and thanked them for their support. He said it is not enough that the government accepts our demands only, till they are are all practically implemented, we will not budge an inch.

He said, “I will defend the rights of Shiite Muslims till my last breath”.
