Alkhoei Foundation, a mainstream Shiaorganisation based in London issued a statement on Friday following Nice terror attack and said ” These acts of terror, which have become global, continue to stir emotions of disgust and anger at the warped sense of morality of these terrorists, which seriously falls short of the common values shared by all humans, religions and beliefs in all societies.”
According to Shafaqna, the statesmen reads: Once again, the French people have become the target of terror and torment in a deadly attack that claimed the lives of at least 84 men, women and children when a terrorist drove a heavy truck at high speed into a crowd of people watching Bastille Day fireworks in the French Riviera City of Nice.
These acts of terror, which have become global, continue to stir emotions of disgust and anger at the warped sense of morality of these terrorists, which seriously falls short of the common values shared by all humans, religions and beliefs in all societies. Such actions have destroyed families and communities, leaving behind a legacy of defiance and despair.
Just earlier this month, they exerted the same type of cruelty when they used trucks to target a shopping center in the district of Karada in Baghdad, killing at least 300 men, women and children and injuring several hundreds. Today they use similar tactics against more innocent victims in France that were celebrating a significant moment in their country’s history.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with the French nation and the families and loved ones of those that have suffered loss during this attack and pray for the recovery of all the injured.
