Largest gathering of "custodians of holy sites of Shia Islam" will be held at Imam Ridha shrine

“The largest gathering of custodians of Muslim World Holy Shrines coincided with the days of glorious birthday anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (A) will be held in the Razavi holy shrine” Deputy of Administration of Islamic Advertising and Communications of Astan Quds Razavi said.

Seyyed Jalal Husseini, saying this added, “Through the recent trip we had to Iraq, we bestowed official invitation of Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi; Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi to the presence of the Supreme Custodians of the Holy Shrines of Iraq.

“These invitations, were prepared for attendance of Muslim World Holy Shrines Custodians in celebrations of the birthday anniversary of Imam Reza (A). In this invitation, Seyyed Nizar Hashem Habl al-Matin, secretary general of Alavi Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Karbalaee, the secretary general of the Imam Hussein (A) Holy Shrine, Seyyed Ahmad Safi, the Custodian of Abalfazl al-Abbas (A) Holy Shrine, Dr. Dabbagh, the Custodian of Kadhimiya (A) Holy Shrine, as well as Sheikh Sattar a-Morshedi, the SG of Samarra Holy Shrine were officially invited” he stated.

“Also, Seyyed Alae, the Head of the Shi'ite Endowment of Iraq and Seyyed Mujtaba Husseini, representative of the Supreme Leader were invited to attend to Razavi Holy Shrine in Karamat ten-days Celebrations and to be present on this occasion. Moreover, it is planned to invite the Custodian of Hazrat Zeinab (S) Holy Shrine in Syria, and respected Custodians of Fatemi, Hassani and Ahmadi Shrines in Shiraz” Deputy of Administration of Islamic Advertising and Communications of Astan Quds Razavi reminded.

“Certainly, the attendance of the custodian of Iraq, Syria, and Iran Holy Shrines Custodians, for the first time with this scale and quality, would be a proper ground for interactions and joint cooperation between Muslim World Holy Shrines” Seyyed Jalal Husseini expressed, pointing to the objectives of the gathering.

“Today, synergy and convergence between the Holy Shrines, in order to develop and deepen cultural, scientific, and educational activities and serving pilgrims is of particular importance. Obviously, the presence of the Custodians, and joint meetings between them provides the context to approach views, and finding ways of joint cooperation” he asserted.

“Astan Quds Razavi, for the first time, has prepared the context for presence of all Iraq, Syria, and Iran Custodians, which God willing, through this gathering, the Holy Shrines could have more specific solutions and more effective interactions in intellectual, educational, and research fields, administration of holy places and serving the pilgrims” Husseini reiterated.
