- Tahafuz-e-Pakistan conference organized by Majlis Wahdat Msulimeen (biggest Shiite Political-Religious party in Pak.) in relevance to the 28th martyrdom anniversary of martyr Allama Arif Hussain al-Hussaini was held at Jinnah Avenue of Islamabad.
Thousands of activists and Shia and Sunni people attended this program.
Addressing the participants, Central Secretary General Majlis Wahdat Msulimeen Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri announced to end his 87 day long hunger strike.
"I end my hunger strike on the order of senior religious jurisprudents (Grand Shia clerics), however our protest will continue", Allama Jafri addressed Tahafuz-e-Pakistan conference.
He said that our movement will continue until the implementation of our demands. We are transforming our hunger strike camp into protest camp. Tomorrow Hussain flags - flag of Freedom lover - will be installed into the protest camp.
On August 18, a program will be held in Dera Ismail Khan on the eve of Chehlum (40th day of the death or martyrdom of a person) of martyrs. On September 2, sit-in will be staged in front of chief minister house.
Whoever are claimants of being Hussainis, they have to stand against Yazidi forces. I will make visit of entire country. My first journey will be towards Dera Ismail Khan. I will go to the homes of martyrs.
Arif Hussaini was aware of stooges of Christians and Jews. He recognized the enemies of Islam. He wanted to see the beloved homeland stable. He was convener of unity against sectarianism. Those who martyred Arif Hussaini are enemies of this ideology, which is a guarantee of national security and stability. Wretched enemies have failed as Today ideology, role and mission of Quaid Hussaini is progressing. We will never abandon the path of martyr.
HE said that he is thankful to all of the friends and well-wishers who expressed solidarity with him in the hunger strike.

After the announcement of National Action Plan (NAP), there was a ray of hope of success, but after some period situation changes and now everywhere despair prevails regarding NAP.
Instead of targeting terrorists, focus of National Action Plan has been diverted towards the reciters of Darood e Salam. Basic rights have been usurped. Private properties of locals of Gilgt-Baltistan have been snatched. State institutions have been started to act against us. Restrictions have been imposed on Ulema and Zakireen (religious reciters) to move from one province to the other.
Federal Interior minister has made promised that positive steps will be taken to implement all of our demands.
Allama Nasir Jafri said that our hearts beat with Kashmiris. Barbaric torture of Indian army on innocent Kashmiris should be stopped immediately.
We announce to end hunger strike. Our movement will continue until the implementation of our demands. We are transforming our hunger strike camp into protest cap.
The objective of sitting in hunger strike camp was not to bring any government down. We have adopted civilized and constitutional way for getting our rights. Protest rallies were taken in the entire world including Europe.
Another MWM member and member of supreme council Allama Amin Shahidi said that today’s congregation prove that Shia Muslim nation is wise and awake concerning political and religious matters.
Struggle, determination and courage of Allama Nasir Abbas has given climax to the movement of getting Shia rights. After seeing Today’s big crowd, rulers must come back to their senses and must remember that any attempt of suppressing Shia Nation by oppression and suppression will not be successful.
Member provincial assembly Agha Raza, Allama Mukhtar Imami, Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi, Allama Dost Muhammad Saeedi, Allama Wiallyat Hussain Jaffri, Allama Iqtidar Hussain Naqvi, Allama Ejaz Bahisthi, Allama Abu Zar Mahdavi, Allama Azhar Hussain Kazmi, Allama Mubashir Hassan, Allama Baqir Zaidi, Allama Hassan Hamdani, Allama Asghar Askari, Allama Aqeel Moosvi, Allama Zaigam, central leader Malik Iqrar Hussain and Nisar Faizi, Vice-Chairman Sunni Ittehad Council Jawad ul Hassan Kazmi and other religious personalities were present in this congregation.
