Professor Ansarian noted that Imam Sadiq (AS) said: a person is certain to enter paradise if he cries for Imam Hussein (AS) or makes someone weep for Imam Hussein (AS) or imitates the weepers of Imam Hussein (AS).
Professor Hussein Ansarian, a commentator of the Qur'an, on the occasion of the first day of mourning today guidance on husseiniya Sid and Master of Martyrs Imam Hussein (AS) and his loyal companions pointed black the merits of and cries of the oppressed Imam Hussein ( aS), said
on the occasion of the first day of mourning ceremonies for the Master of Martyrs Imam Hussein (AS) and his loyal companions in husseiniya of Hedaiat, Professor Hussein Ansarian who is a Qur'an exegete by emphasizing on the merits of black covering and crying for the oppressed Imam Hussein (AS) declared: it has been narrated that when Imam Hussein(AS) was martyred all the women of Ahlul Bayt (as) dressed in black and wore rough clothes and yet none complained of heat and cold of Medina.
He also added: Imam Sajjad (AS) told to his household to avoid cooking and took the responsibility of cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner, he asked them to shed tears for the innocence of Imam Hussein and the oppression that happened to him and hold mourning ceremonies , based on this narration, holding mourning ceremonies ,wearing black clothes and feeding for Imam Hussein(AS) represent the importance of Mourning for Imam Hussein(AS).
Professor Ansarian continued: Imam’s action, Imam’s word and utterance are divine proof and serving and giving foods in mourning sessions for Imam Hussein(AS) is in fact following Imam Sajjad (AS) and other Imams (AS) and those who criticize these affairs are sick in the heart.
This erudite scholar by referring to the fact that Infallible Imams (as) in some narrations have come up with the words ordinary crying and crying along with screaming for Imam Hussein(AS) pointed out: one level of crying is the ordinary crying and the second step of crying is the one with screaming and shouting that the person who is crying like that faints.
He added: Imam Sadiq (AS) said: a person is certain to enter paradise if he cries for Imam Hussein (AS) or makes someone weep for Imam Hussein (AS) or imitates the weepers of Imam Hussein (AS).if the person who has cried for imam Hussein (AS) enters the gathering place for mankind on the day of judgment because the paradise is obligatory for him even if his worldly deeds are not accepted he certainly enters the paradise both for the perfect dignity and reverence of Imam Hussein(AS) and high status of crying Imam Hussein (AS) .
The Seminary professor added: Imam Sadiq (AS) said: shedding tears for Imam Hussein(AS) equals helping Hadhrat Zahra(as), crying for Imam Hussein (AS) is a recommended act(mustahab) but its power is higher and more than Obligatory acts(wajebat)
This exegete of the Holy Quran by referring to screamingly crying declared: Hazrat Zeinab (SA) was the first one who screamed and cried for Imam Hussein and called upon his father and grandfather while shouting and crying, Imam Muhammad Baqir (AS) said: O Allah pour your blessings upon those who scream and cry for Imam Hussein(AS), those who come out of the sessions of mouring ceremonies for Imam Hussein (AS) are swarmed with mercy and blessings.
In the end Professor Ansarian by pointing out that Imam Hussein (AS) grants the worth of your tears,
said: there are two type of crying , one which is deep down in the throat and the other one is let out all the sound from your larynx. Imam Reza (AS) said: Imam Hussein (AS ) is like those verse of the Holy Quran that if one hears prostrating becomes obligatory for him and if someone hears the name of Hussein crying gets obligatory for him.
