Despite her old age, Haj Khanum Sadia achieved this feat through determination and strong resolve to memorize the Holy Book.
According to trikut website, she was recently honored for her accomplishment in a ceremony at a mosque in Fuengirola, a town on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain.
The imam of the mosque praised Sadia for her strong will and dedication to memorize the Quran and described her as a role model.
The Quran, the holy book of Islam, has 30 Juzes (parts), 114 Surahs (chapters) and 6,236 verses.
