-- On the occasion of Eid Al-Ghadir, the annual international media festival of “Al-Ghadir” will be held for two days from December 6 in the holy city of Najaf.
According to Brasa news agency, the festival has been planned by Al-Ghadir satellite network in cooperation with media outlets from Iraq and a number of other Islamic and Arab countries.
According to Abbas Al-Boka, head of information office of the organizing committee, secretary general of the union of Islamic media and a number of media experts will attend the festival.
“Union of Iraqi satellite networks is to be formed at the two day festival and moral charter of the union will be drafted by represantatives of 25 satellite networks, 12 radio channels and 12 national newspapers.”
He said that short movies and documentaries on the occasion, lectures by eminent Iraqi figures and various religious and cultural performances will be among the programs of the festival.
