Liberation of Aleppo ruined U.S. calculations in region

In his recent trip to Mashahad, Imam Khamenei paid a visit to the family of the martyred holy shrine defender, Javad Jahani. In this meeting an account of which is being published for the first time by the official website of Imam Khamenei, His Eminence referred to the liberalization of Aleppo, saying, "The case of Aleppo, was so important that it completely changed and ruined all calculations of the US, Saudi Arabia, and others in Syria, as a result the defenders didn’t give their blood for nothing."

He went on to say, "This event was so important that no words can describe its majesty. The whole of the country and the entire nation are primarily indebted to the martyrs, and secondly the families of the martyrs. One must appreciate the martyrs’ fathers and mothers. Once there was a war in our own country, there were bombings in Tehran, in Dezfoul, in Ahwaz; people felt the war with their own flesh and blood; some people participated in the war--even at that time, not all the people participated though; some people went to war, and families were patient; youth were martyred and their participation has always been valued, martyrs have a great position.

Today, there is a war which our people do not feel with their flesh and blood, but at the same time, they participate; you see, this is extremely important. They go to the war, even though, they do not feel it at home, why? Because they understand the situation."
