Answering what the duty and work of the Prophet was in this world, Professor Ansarian said: In the sermon of 106 of Nahj al-Balaghah, Amir al-Mu'minin (AS) states: The Prophet (PBUH&HP) was a doctor who had his drug, the Holy Qur'an, in his hand; he had no office and no clinic, and this physician traveled door to door with the medicine in his hand, and this shows how modest and humble the Prophet (PBUH&HP) was.
Professor Ansarian added: The Holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) used to travel from door to door and from person to person to treat and heal the perverse and corrupted people whose hearts are blind so that he can awaken their hearts and connect them to Allah and the day of resurrection and also make them certain about hell and heaven. He used to travel around in order to cure the ears that were not able to hear the voice of truth and righteousness, he used to travel around so as to heal the dumb tongues which were unable to ask about the truths, facts and the principles. He had his medicines in his hands and was searching to heal the diseases of ignorance and was trying to awaken the ignorant people by stroking, affections, love and soft and lenient speech.
