The rich people must not be imprisoned by their wealth. According to the Qur'an's explicit verses in Surah Al-Imran, and Surah At-Tawbah, this imprisonment will surely lead them toward hell. The Almighty Allah says: those who have been granted wealth by me, but has made this wealth his prison and makes no financial effort for the sake of Allah, Islam, religion and the orphans and those families who deserve being helped financially, must know that I will turn all his wealth into a blazing metal necklace on the day of resurrection and wrap it around his neck and he won't be able to take this necklace off his neck forever. " وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ" –" And let not those deem, who are niggardly in giving away that which Allah has granted them out of His grace, that it is good for them; nay, it is worse for them; they shall have that whereof they were niggardly made to cleave to their necks on the resurrection day; and Allah's is the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is aware of what you do "( AL-E-IMRAN-VERSE 180).
