(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Holding mourning ceremonies at Imam Khomeini’s (R.A.) Portico, Razavi Holy Shrine hosts devoted pilgrims and Mashhadi citizens, concurrent with martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zeinab (S.A.), symbol of patience.
Astan Quds Razavi’s deputy of Islamic propagation said, “Hazrat Zeinab (S.A.) is a lady who is very unique not only among women but also among men. She was a lady who was the highest sample of braveness and courage, knowledge and insight, competence and wisdom, spiritual power and also situation diagnosis. She also carried out every duty of various social tasks that she undertook”.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Jalal Hosseini went on to say, “Some special programs are held, on the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zeinab (S.A.), with the presence of large congregation of pilgrims and citizens in the Razavi Holy Shrine”.
He added, “On this occasion, a mourning ceremony will be held on Sunday night, Hazrat Zeinab’s (S.A.) martyrdom night, since 6 pm. This ceremony will be participated by both citizens and pilgrims at Imam Khomeini’s (R.A.) Portico”.
He stated, “Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimins Agha Tehrani and Hosseini Qomi will be the lecturers of this ceremony and the ceremony will be continued by eulogies of panegyrists of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.)”.
Astan Quds Razavi’s deputy of Islamic propagations went on to say, “A special program has also been provisioned, concurrent with the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zeinab (S.A.), in which Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimins Rezaei Tehrani and Naseri will have their lectures and panegyrists will have their eulogies. This special program will be started at Imam Khomeini’s (R.A.) Portico”.
He continued, “Another special program with the name of night of Hazrat Zeinab’s (S.A.) martyrdom and commemoration of Fatemiyoun veterans will be held on Monday night 13th of Farvardin, 2nd of April”.
Hosseini said, “The program of Hazrat Zeinab’s (S.A.) martyrdom night will be continued with the lecture of custodian of Astan Quds Razavi and eulogy recitation of Seyyed Majd Bani Fatimah, Reza Narimani, and Seyyed Mosafer”.
He reiterated, “This program will be held after Maqrib an Isha prayers at Imam Khomeini’s (R.A.) Portico”.
Hosseini also announced on the special programs provisioned for the non-Iranian pilgrims and said, “This program include lectures, knowledge circle, responding to religious questions, and settling religious misunderstandings, and classes introducing Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.). These programs will be held at Kousar, Dar al-Rahmah, and Ghadir Porticos”.
