(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Dr. Maimunatu Hussain is one of the speakers at the annual Maulud celebration of Ammerul Mu'mineen Ali Ibn Abi Talib (A) organized by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the distinguished leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H).
The birth with songs of praise to the Ameerul Mu'mineen Ali and ziyarat recitation in honour of the day.
Speaking on the continued unprecedented tyranny and illegal detention of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, Dr. Maimunatu Hussain described the revered leader as a symbol of peace and fairness.
She said, "Its high time for Nigerian clerics irrespective of school of thought to understand that, Sheikh Zakzaky is a spiritual reformer rises by Allah to Most High to cleanse these Ummah and reform the Islamic religion in this immediate continent".
"Sheikh Zakzaky is an unparalleled scholar among his contemporaries. Upon all these undescriptive epic of oppression launched on him and his peaceful Movement, he is still calming the mind of innumerable millions of his followers to follow all peaceful channels in pursuit of justice over this horrendous Zaria attack and his illegal detention."
While citing examples on his interaction with all and sundry in his residential area of Gyallesu and neighboring habitants across the Country, Dr. Maimunatu explains that, "Everybody now, have understood Sheikh Zakzaky as the most peaceful cleric in this Country. Even the jobless youth and marijuana smokers in this Country have quiet understood who is Sheikh Ibraheem Yaqoub Zakzaky(H).
