If one's talkativeness continues, it turns into his secondary nature. In other word, if he commits the sins of the tongue, he doesn't feel the spiritual pain anymore. As plenty of people commit sins on a daily basis but they don’t feel their ignorance and have no guilty conscience, because the sin has become their secondary nature.
